Nice hotel, close to beach and mall

Pros: The staff and bartenders are very friendly and are willing to help you.
Cons: The drinks need to be improved as the frozen fruity drinks are made with syrups and no actual fruit.
Location: The things nearby include a mall which has a good gift shop, where you can get all your gift needs. If you need water shoes go to the mall.
The hotel staff was amazing made you feel at home. almost everything was included in the all inclusive expect for Lobster and bottle wine at the restaurants. The bedding in the room had stains on the sheets and covers that were very noticeable upon entering the room. The mini bar only had pop, water, beer, candy bar and some nuts. The beach is nice and you can get drink service while sitting on the beach. There is a gift shop in the mall which I recommend as there is a good selection of gifts at a reasonable price. For breakfast and lunch they only offer buffets and for dinner there are only to places you can make reservations at. The restaurants that need reservations is Mexican and Seafood. I would highly recommend doing the Mexican restaurant.

Close to the beach, but!

Pros: Staff was exceptional
Cons: Try to get a chef that knows how to plan meals, as a chef I was not impressed!
Location: The mall and shopping was within 100 yards.
The only thing good about the facility is the staff was very friendly and helpful, always there when needed. The food was bland, when I asked for jalapeno peppers in my eggs she stated that they did not have any, Mexico and no jalapeno peppers! Every day the only good meal was the breakfast buffet. Same meals over and over, bland chicken, tough beef roasts, dry pork roast. They had Asian night on my last day and it was fantastic.

Buen hotel, mala atencion

Pros: La vista a la playa. Las instalaciones se ven bien.
Cons: La atención y servicio al cliente.
Location: No salimos del hotel ya que la estancia fue corta. Sin embargo, justo en frente hay una plaza comercial (mall) ideal para caminar y bajar la comida.
A pesar de ser un hotel reconocido a nivel mundial, me encontré con varias sorpresas que mancharon mi buena percepción del hotel, las cuales enumero a continuación: - El registrarme en el hotel (check in) me pude percatar que personal se encargaba de dar cocteles de bienvenida a los huéspedes mientras esperaban en la línea, sin embargo, solo lo hacían con gente extranjera. Gente de méxico como un servidor no contó con ese servicio. - Después de unas horas de haber entrado a la habitación, nos encontramos con una gotera que comenzó a mojar el pasillo de entrada al cuarto. Vinieron a repararlo, resulta que era la manguera de drenaje del clima que se había tapado. - El clima de la habitación hacía un ruido excesivo, asumo que son climas algo antiguos. Evidentemente eran mini splits. - El restaurante buffet siempre estaba lleno, por lo general eran 15 minutos de espera. - El hotel no cuenta con un restaruante "playero" al cual puedas ingresar justo después de nadar. Para entrar al restaurante que esta junto a las albercas, hay que ir a cambiarse. - Los bares no son suficientes y siempre están llenos. Los bartenders le dan preferencia a grupos de huéspedes que les dan propina y que se apoderan de la barra. Falta personal que te atienda para bebidas en las mesas o los camastros o la alberca. - Falta variedad en las comidas. - El snack 24 horas, solo tiene palomitas y chicharrones de harina, pocas veces hay refrigerios.

I have zero complaints everything was absolutely awesome my reservation was 6/5/16 through 6/9/16 all inclusive and they absolutely exceeded my expectations staff was ridiculously awesome food was great drinks were just right even the other guest were awesome ...I cant wait to go back

Cancun Vacation

Pros: Their pools and how accessible the ocean is to the hotel.
Cons: Smell in the rooms.
Location: Love the fact that a Mall is across the street and we did most of our shopping there. We were able to ride the bus and had no need to rent a car.
The hotel is located in a great area. And the staff was welcoming, not as expected expected though since I had already been at another Barceló (Puerto Vallarta). The food was the same the 7 days we were there and very few choices. The rooms were clean but smelled humid. The hallways as well. They offer shows every night at 9 pm. and those were fantastic. The pools were cleaned and drinks were constantly being offered to us. We love Barcelo, hoping that our next visit to another Barcelo is better than the one in Cancun.

Very nice place. ,food was good we had a nice time Rooms where clean and view was awsome , it was worth the visit we will come back
