great staff,fabulous entertainment,nice

Cons: Pool needs some help. Turned our blond hair and bathing suits green. Swim at the beach in the morning and early afternoon before the current changes.
Great staff, super entertainment, nice food, pool is beautiful but can turn your suits green. Nice beach shaded by palm trees, with a lot of boating action to make the day entertaining. We took an excursion on the Captain Hook boat, right near the hotel. UNBELIEVABLE SHOW and lobster and steak dinner. Well worth the money. Be sure to do that!

Bueno pero..

El hotel es muy familiar, y para descansar. El servicio no fue bueno ya que se tardaban mucho en atender ya fuera en la alberca o en el restaurant. El cuarto estaba bien, pero se mojaba todo de humedad y estaba muy resbaloso. Es una buena opcion para el precio, pero sin duda hay hoteles mejores.

Me encanto fui sola con mi hija me sentí muy segura muy cómoda las instalaciones fabulosas , eh ido 5 veces a cancun a distintos hoteles y de visitar de nuevo elegiría sin duda a hotel barcelo.

Nos gusto muchísimo el servicio de todo incluido es cómodo para estar con la familia. El personal es muy amable en especial los meseros y la comida está deliciosa. Nos encantaría volver en nuestras próximas vacaciones es un hotel ideal para venir en familia. Lo único que quisiéramos es estar en una habitación en el primer piso por razones de seguridad para nuestro hijo pequeño.

Es un muy buen hotel para escaparse un fin de semana, en la playa cerca del centro y con alimentos de buena calidad. Si regresaría.

Buffet, beach and activities

I arrived 10/17/15 resort is not what I expected having stayed at Barcelo before in Rivera Maya. Had to get my key changeD 3 times cause it wasn't working. The food in buffet was not great, same food. Beach was not upto par. The activities at the pool was very poor.

Really enjoyable Stay

Pros: The restaurant buffet was always top class.
Cons: Dampness in rooms. Entertainments team more up to date. Bingo went out with the black and white television! Paper plane races! What??
Location: Trips on the galleons. Helicopter rdes all were very close by!
I spent 7 nights at this hotel on my own to recover from a recent op. I asked for a quiet room which they were only too pleased to oblige. The meals were really good and the staff in the restaurant were extremely friendly. I can speak Spanish so that made my stay even more pleasant. Sadly the last 4 days it rained and I found their was no real entertainment planned for rainy days! This is something that should be looked at by the entertainments team, where at times I only saw one member present. I found the staff at the front desk unsmiling at times and even two had problems understanding English.

Pros: Environment and staff treatment, very pleasent areas inside and outside. Not a big hotel but has all you need for ensuring you a good time while
Cons: More acitvities at the hotel like sports
Location: Its well located and you can go to discos, shopping centers and also see many hightlights around.
Its a nice, charm hotel near main places like discos, shopping centers and the bay of Albatros where you can go to Isla de Mujeres. The hotel staff is quite good and also the hotel has bars, restaurants with good qualities
