Check in was easy peasy. We were given an upgrade just because. The room is spacious and very clean. Only wish there was a freezer in the fridge so we could refreeze our blue ice.

It is clean, comfortable, quiet, and is easy to access. We have been coming here for years on our way back from camping in the Turtle Mountains. We also love the fact that it is in walking distance to our favorite Japanese restaurant in Tehachapi.

We had reservations for a handicapped accessible room but not only was that not available the staff refused to help me get to/ from our room. And when I asked to speak with the manager I received a bad disposition and claims that she’d speak with her staff with no action behind it. I spent the extra money to stay somewhere that would be safe and comfortable for me and my sister but received the opposite. I will never stay there again and would advise anyone not to also

The carpets in the halls need some serious cleaning. The overhead fan in the room did not work and the plug in the bathroom faucet was permanently plugged up. The staff was great but it’s in need of a deep cleaning and some basic maintenance.

Adequate facilities

Pros: rooms were fine and comfortable
Cons: customer service
Location: starbucks nearby
The hotel and rooms seem nice and clean. The receptionist was kind of clueless. In the middle of the night, there was a smoke alarm that woke up the entire hotel. Husband went out to investigate and apparently this is not the first time this month that it happened. The receptionist was way over his head to offer any meaningful information or to try to solve the problem or offer any accommodations. The fire department never showed up to investigate either. Kind of hard to sleep if you're wondering if the hotel is on fire or if we are all suffocating in the smoke. The next morning, everything seemed fine. The morning crew was different and the breakfast people seem to be working very hard to keep everything stocked. And the breakfast was decent and sufficient. Hotel itself is fine, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Watch out for the fire and smoke alarms and don't wait for any apologies since you're not getting any.
