Horrible experience staying at this place, room doors were not locking. After complaining they said they are going to upgrade me, but room was horrible with very bad smell. I will never recomnned this place to even an enemy of mine. Extremely horrible service & rooms

Emerald hotel in Calgary
The hallways smelled like smoke, washroom light was not working, sink in the washroom had mold and people beside our room were so loud and the hotel service didn’t do anything about it. I ended up checking out after 30 mins of checking in. They didn’t even bother giving the refund or apologizing.

The price was great. There clearly is upkeep that is not taking place, though. The fire alarm panel at the front door beeped the entire time we were there (three days). The wifi is spotty. Often the elevators and hallways were not clean. It’s nothing fancy but good enough for short stays.
