I was absolutely thrilled by my stay at Xandari! The property, my villa and the staff (Lucy, Oscar...everyone) were fantastic! I chose Xandari as my last stop before leaving Costa Rica; I must come back for an extended stay! I definitely recommend the resort for an amazing experience!

The staff was amazing. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The view is fantastic. The pools were refreshing. The hiking trails were well maintained.

The grounds were beautiful and huge. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We stayed in the room with the palm leaf ceiling, which i thought was really cool and different. I will warn you that It can be a bit loud with the insects, chickens, and other sounds. It was ok for 1 night but It might have bothered me if I was staying long term. Overall, a lovely hotel and I’m glad I had the opportunity to visit.

Serene

Pros: Small and the feel that we were the only ones there.
Cons: Better wifi to the villas and a TV in each would be nice.
Location: It was isolated but within 20 minutes to downtown.
Excellent, peaceful location. The only downsides were technological. The wifi in the villas did not work for us...only in the lobby. There were no TV's except in the lobby, which we knew going in.
