Our stay was wonderful, but housekeeping could use some work. We had to request clean sheets our first night and then were given new sheets and had to make our own bed, dirty dishes weren’t removed from the room and our body wash ran out. For as expensive as our stay was, these issues seem like they should have been taken care of. Someone from housekeeping should have made our bed- especially after a long day of travel, the last thing I want to do is pay $400/night to make my own bed. The grounds are beautiful, but the housekeeping issues were a big deal and sort of muted the rest of the positives here.

There were not very many people there. It seemed pretty empty. The staff were super nice in both the restaurant and spa. The pool heater was broken and there was no poolside food service so that was disappointing. There was also no jacuzzi. They did have a nice fire outside to sit by. The valet parking was free so that was nice. However we felt it was really over priced for what we got. The room was nothing spectacular. It was very noisy in the morning on the first floor.

We came for a Christmas party and have stayed here before. It is always a great stay. The staff are amazing, professional and very courteous. The only slight inconvenience was that the hot water in the shower and sink took at least 5 minutes or more to get warm. And even though we let it run for several minutes to get even a little warm, it was never really hot. I’m not sure, but it was likely an issue due to the construction going on. Other than that (which wasn’t a big deal), we had a wonderful stay. Nice rooms, beautiful property and really great staff.

The room door and those around it rattle in their frames because they fit poorly. The TV size was great. No office chair in room. We were informed by phone the annual Thanksgiving buffet was cancelled for a set menu so we ate elsewhere. The downstairs bar setup was poor. No slippers with the robes. Coffee maker didn't have enough supplies.

We have stayed there before and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately this time they failed to disclose they are remodeling and under construction 👎 One of the things we liked previously was having a nice bar and restaurant there. The bar is currently closed, the restaurant it limited and small, the spa closed (service provided in a room and no discounts for the inconvenience) the hall ways are VERY COLD!! I understand its Arizona but we were there and weather outside was in the 70’s! No need to have the hallways and restaurant at 60 degrees. I had a friend join for dinner and had to warn her to bring a sweater or jacket because it was so cold. I am sure it will be lovely once the remodel is finished, but for the time being if we go back we will most likely stay somewhere else until its finished.
