There are many hidden charges. The staff give different explanations for the purpose of the charges. When you checkout, they inform you that you must spend $35.00 at their market or lose it altogether.

We arrived a little bit early and were told the room was ready so we could go ahead and check in. I did not expect to have to pay an additional $50! Also, charging $5 a bag to store luggage is ridiculous. I felt nickeled and dimmed at every turn. I haven’t experienced this at other Hilton properties or at other hotels in NYC. I won’t be choosing this hotel again.

I was surprised that the hotel worked out so well. It is tucked away on 42nd street, with one having to take the elevator to the 19th floor to even register. But it had a wonderfully comfortable bed and a fun area to get food for dinner and breakfast. They are upgrading the location now.

The bathroom curtain was dirty, there were toenails from the former guest. It was disgusting. Charging for breakfast is mandatory. They make you pay $80 for the property fee and give $200 more for a mandatory deposit from which they deduct $35 a day for breakfast at the place, or they do not deduct it anyway.
