I was extremely disappointed in this property especially considering the cost for a two night stay. The photos don't accurately represent the hotel which is old and needs a lot of updates. On two occassions I was completely ignored by the staff. Once at the Tiki Bar, and 2nd at the restaurant. At the bar the staff only worked one side/corner of the bar and never even acknowledged my existence. How can you have 3 bartenders only focused on one end of the bar? The second time was at the Tila restaurant or whatever it was called. The hostess sat me, and there were two wait staff focused on people already sitting at tables. I was sitting there for a good 15-20 mins and wasn't even offered a glass of water. It seemed they were backed-up and busy as it sounded like other tables were waiting for food for at least 45 mins. I didn't want to eat dinner at 10:30 at night, so I walked out. Other restaurants in the area are way better quality, but I'd recommend making a reservation if you can for dinner. They made a big deal about the Saturday night fireworks, but they were lame as hell. First off they were set-off way to close to the hotel so that the windows in the rooms were shaking. They started at 9pm and ended by 9:10. All around a disappointment. I didn't take advantage of the spa and considering the state of things in the hotel I'm glad I didn't. I visited the outdoor pool and the pictures make it look way larger than it actually is.

This hotel used to be our go to place to stay! Let’s use say it was not like it used to be! Rooms were filthy no towels no maid service at all because of COVID .. I was issued a room after waiting in long line to check in after. A day at beach only to walk in on someone else In-N-Our room! They did give us a better view room but the overall staffing was horrible! Garbage cans overflowing no recycling pool deck dirty no umbrellas the gestapo at the entrance to the beach unnecessarily demanding worst bands on arm not bags? Sleeping life guards at pool and no one at front desk phone consistently.. wait staff in restaurants was very friendly and helpful despite poor hotel conditions. No working WiFi and poor a/c will not be returning sadly as we love the area of the boardwalk.. we will look into other hotel options

Not a “resort” hotel experience. Very dated and very small room. Needs complete overhaul. Not worthy of price. Only advantage was being on beach where hotel supplied beach umbrellas, chairs and beach towels
