Great vintage motel. Sunset is all in with the ‘50s style complete with a turntable and a few records available in the room. Comfortable, clean room and nice outdoor places. Right in town, the motel was very convenient. Can’t wait to visit again.

Fun & Nice to have a Change
We stay in Brevard quite often & this was the first time at the Sunset Motel. I really loved the room decorations and the room was very clean. It was different than staying at a big chain hotel & we thought it was really a nice area. I will say that when we had children, we would have loved to stay because there was a kitchenette in our room and I would have cooked breakfast & lunch for the kids there but would have had to buy a few things to make it work. It would be perfectly fine for one or two people though. No cleaning service between multiple days stay though so if you needed more coffee for your room coffee maker, make sure to buy some locally! That really was the only thing that was below my expectations. Overall & good & fun stay. Would do it again!

A retro cool experience
My stay at the Sunset Motel exceeded my initial expectations. I was in the apartment and my first impression was… very cool, the décor was 60’s retro. Everything was clean and in good condition and kitchen appliances were like new. A staff member was available by phone and very friendly. There was a turntable with a half dozen LPs. Putting the needle on vinyl took me back decades. I will stay there again, if the apartment is available.

Very Basic motel. Clean. Close to a noisy highway and the heater thermostat didn’t work properly. We did have heat but the temperature was about 10 degrees or more different than what the heater/thermostat read. Pillows were extremely soft.

Throw back which need updating.
Cool look but the room needs updating especially the bathroom. Wasn’t until the next morning we realized there wasn’t any soap or shampoo in the room so just rinsed off without lather. No cable with a sketchy fire stick set up with no local stations. Beds no too comfortable. So while kitschy not too comfortable.
