Fab location for ski in / ski out in 1800. You do need to take the pedestrian gondola to get down for the full sized supermarket and a range of bars and restaurants. My room was a good size (junior suite) and very comfortable. The check in process is a chore. You're asked to inspect about 7 items e.g. vacuum cleaner, coffee machine etc and then email a report of any damage or faults. Frankly, on arriving on holiday, paying well over £100/night, I think it's not a reasonable expectation that you spend upward of 30 minutes inspecting your room's amenities. Also it wasn't clear to me at all if I was expected to take out my own rubbish. There is a difference if you're staying in the apartments Vs the hotel - and when I asked about this specifically, it wasn't clear at all. A lot of staff there had only started during the week of my stay and didn't seem very well informed. Having said that it was a comfortable stay and staff were friendly. As I paid my deposit by card, it'll be a few days until I see how much of it I get back. So I can't comment towards whether this can be relied on at this stage.
