"Close to many nice features of Boston"
The hotel was quite nice, much better than I was expecting after reading other reviews about the rooms. Our room was lovely, but it was directly across from an extremely loud clunking ice maker and diagonally across from the elevators, which regularly offloaded noisy guests until the wee hours of the morning.

"Best Hotel we have ever stayed at!"
XV Beacon is simply the best hotel my husband and I have EVER stayed at! The rooms are luxerious, the staff is extremely helpful and polite. The concerige helped me arrange a special anniversay evening (i.e made reservations for a show and dinner) plus the town car service took us any where else we wanted to go. They truly went above and beyond. We will stay here any time time we are in Boston!

"Great patio view"
The upgrade for the patio room was well worth the extra cost. We had a wonderful view of the Charles River, Boston & MIT. The outdoor space made the room feel twice as big. Service was attentive and the breakfast buffet was fast. I would stay at the Hyatt again.

"Good Location downtown Boston"
SMALL ROOMS (or at least ours was small) Hotel staff was absolutely wonderful and very accomodating. Was able to add a crib to my room without any issues and the bar downstairs made any downtown extremely pleasant. The AC in the room didn't seem to keep the room that cool even when it was blasted. The room was fairly tiny. Much smaller than I expected for the money paid. This could be a biased view since I am not use to getting hotels in the middle of a downtown metropolus. The room was clean but hard to manage with a 2 year old. No room to seperate his sleeping area and no bathtub to give him a bath before bed. The beds were very comfortable and windows gave a great view of the city. Food at the restaurant was very good and well priced. Again the waitstaff for the restaurant was wonderful along with the bartender and bar manager. Hotel staff helped us out by heating up our babies milk in their microwave since there was not one in the room.

"Awesome hotel in the heart of Downtown Boston."
We selected this hotel as it appeared to be the best price for the area we were looking to stay in during our visit to Boston. What a fantastic find! This hotel was amazing! The staff was beyond helpful, and answered any questions we had about local attractions and transit. Check in was a breeze, even with there being a large number of people waiting to do so in the lobby. The room was clean and spacious, with an amazing view of the State House and the tops of the trees in the Common. While we didn't partake in the room service, the menu was spectacular. It was only a few short blocks to some amazing restaurants, and two blocks from Boston Common, The Brattle Book Shop (you MUST check that place out), Chinatown, Beacon Hill, the start of the Freedom Trail, and transit, which was convenient. We found that we ended up spending much less than we thought on transit because we were so centrally located. While we didn't spend as much time in the room, we definitely found it to be comfortable, clean and modern. The hotel also had NESN, which for southerners like us who rarely get to watch the Red Sox on TV, it was a welcome treat after a day out and about.
