This magnificent 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom log cabin is nestled in the peaceful woods of Sugar Mountain and can accommodate 10 guests. This cabin has a hot tub on the deck for your enjoyment. Cozy up in front of the flat-screen TV and electric fireplace in the living room. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a King bed, the second bedroom has a Queen bed and there are two sets of bunk beds in the third bedroom. Additionally, the loft area offers a Day bed. Take advantage of the private Wi-Fi and washer and dryer in the unit. This cabin is luxurious and homey with deep reds and rich accents providing a warm atmosphere. Non-smoking. Absolutely NO Pets from December through March. Pet-friendly may be available seasonally. There are pet size/breed and number restrictions please confirm with us before booking. Please acknowledge that there is a $100 pet fee(per pet). No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests required to sign their rental agreement within 7 days of booking.

Cozy property but needs a deep clean/TLC
This is actually our second time renting the property- the first experience a year ago was terrific, but this time, not so much. Garbage disposal didn’t work properly Hot tub took a day to warm up Showers smelled and had major mold growing Silverware and dishes were not clean Leftover food (open) left behind from previous tenants in cabinets Dust all over floor and baseboards covered in dirt This property needs some TLC/a good deep clean and it could be significantly better. We obviously loved it enough the first time to rent it a second time, but I wouldn’t rent it again. It was pretty gross as far as cleanliness goes.

I rented this place for 4 moms and 5 college age kiddos. We had a FANTASTIC time in Sugar Mountain. The rental staff was very nice. The downside is the cleanliness of the rental. I’m pretty shocked at how this has been gotten away with. It is CLEAR that this place has been used several times with little to no actual cleaning. I don’t want to rent from this company again simply because of their lack of cleaning standards. I’m talking crunched up beer can in the drawers, dirt, old food, items dumped in the bottom of closets with items on top of them, coffee grounds in kitchen drawers, etc. it was rough.

We had a great stay. 2 families of 4 with kids 10-8 yrs old Conveniently located to Sugar Mountain ski resort, as well as close to Banner Elk. Accommodations were great! Perfect for the size group.

Good Stay - just need better management
Overall the house worked well and we will return - the management company just needs to tighten up and pay attention to some things. We received a call that the property was available for check in - you have to go to a management office to get a key - we arrived at 3:40 pm and were told the house was not ready and we had to come back - it was a 4:00 check in. For a company that manages many houses - they should be able to provide a pack and play but this company does not. The outside of the house needs to be picked up - many beer bottles, water bottles and other trash in the bushes and in the woods around the house. The house itself was as advertised but could use a good dusting. The outside fire pit doesn't work and doesn't have instructions. The room layout was great - kids loved the 2 bunk beds. The biggest issue with sleeping is the pillows are some of the thinnest pillows I have ever seen in my life. Out of 10 or so sleeping pillows int he house - 2 were alright and the other 8 were thin as paper. They should simply invest in 8 - 10 more pillows. Hot tub worked perfectly and was always at the right temperature Ice machine on refrigerator didn't work which is a bit annoying. Wifi and TV worked well! Again - overall a very good stay and my family will keep it on our list as would rent again but for having a paid property manager, the attention to detail could be a bit better and could easily be fixed within one day!

Great location for skiing!
The house is extremely close to Sugar Mountain/Beech Mountain which makes for perfect time to hit the slopes. The hottub is also great to relax in after a long day. Great if you have a 4WD vehicle that can drive in cold/icy conditions.
