Our host was extremely gracious. Her home was perfectly located (we visited Old Quebec which was only minutes away and Montmorency Falls which was in walking distance). The breakfast was delicious and the company of other guests a true delight. We will definitely come back.

Fantastic B&B - an outstanding experience!
Pros:Wonderful accomodations, gracious hostess, outstanding meals, great location
Cons:nothing to improve!
Location:Montmorency Falls are a 5 minute walk away. Ile d'Orleans is about 8 minutes away. Old Quebec is about 15 minutes away.
We really loved our stay at Au Gite de la Chute in Boischatel, Quebec. Our host was just fantastic - incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and makes one heck of a breakfast! The home was outstanding. We stayed in the Calla room, a huge room with a queen bed, large ensuite bathroom with standing shower, lovely furniture and bedding, and a gigantic tv. We were able to control the room temperature ourselves - the air conditioning was really powerful, and it had been quite a warm day. The location is great - you can walk to Montmorency Falls in five minutes (and save the $12 per car parking rate). It is just a few minutes to drive to Ile d'Orleans, the gorgeous island where most of the fruits and vegetables for Quebec City come from. There is a church in every little city on that island, and it is a nice place to explore after visiting downtown Quebec and Old Quebec (which is only a 15 minute drive away). I can't recommend the gracious hostess and the beautiful B&B enough! Next time I come to Quebec City, I will definitely stay there for a longer visit.
