For what I paid for this room I was pleased. I wouldn't pay over $100 to stay here. The queen suite is more pleasing the the lobby and halls. Walls are SUPER thin. Low ceiling. Super comfy bed.

We were surprised at how much space we had in the room. The bed was comfortable. I wish the TV was bigger and in a different location but that wasn't a deal breaker. There were plenty of food options nearby as well. We came for an overnight stay but if we return and stay longer, we'll staying here again.

Was very nice place to stay and staff was amazing

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
Location: we were there to see/ spending time with family!
This was and wonderful and clean! Staff was very friendly and nice rooms were very clean and comfortable. Very spacious for work area. I travel a lot for work and would recommend this place for any long term stays, We were there a week and was very relaxing and quite.

2 night business stay.

Pros: Room and staff. See details above.
Cons: Halls, elevator and door card readers.
Location: Some restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Also just down the road about 10 minutes from large shopping complex.
Room very nice for the price. Stayed here several times recently and always very pleased with room and hotel staff. Common area including halls and elevator are showing their age and need reconditioned. Fitness room also adequate and in good shape. On-site cupboard is convenient. Door card readers are problematic and need work also. Overall a very good value for a clean, comfortable and spacious room. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers.

Can't do better for the price

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
I have stayed here three times now at different parts of the year and the hotel is outstanding for the price. There is no pool or lavish amenities, but the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the place is clean and the people are great. The rooms have a nice kitchenette and the hotel offers free movie rentals and has DVD players in the rooms. If I ever need to go back through Birmingham, I will definitely stay there.

nice hotel

We stayed at this hotel one night on our way down to Gulf Shores. From I-65 it is a little out of the way but all in all was a nice place to stay. Room was clean but needed a little updating to the decor. Bed was pretty comfortable, not as comfortable as home but hey what can you expect at a hotel. Check in and check out went smoothly. Would stay here again.

Awesome choice!

Moved here after having a very unpleasant experience at another property in the area. The front desk staff was very prompt, efficient, and hospitable. It was southern hospitality at its finest. This hotel is such a great value for the price. The rooms are large and spacious (almost like home), and the price is incredible. I would have expected to pay much more. It was great having plenty of room to spread out and get work done. Only downsides I saw: it's a little ways out from downtown Birmingham, but it's still very easy to get around the area, and some of the decor and furnishings could use updating. Still, all in all, excellent property. Deserves more than two stars on here!
