Good location, but staff not very friendly or helpful. Seemed to spend most time texting on phone. Breakfast was just terrible-mush fried potatoes, dried out sausage/ham, dried out scrambled eggs. This place used to be a holiday inn, but it certainly doesn’t even closely resemble one now.

Very nice, clean hotel with nice staff. It was very roomy as well. Only thing that could be better was if they offered a "continental breakfast" and not only coffee.

At the price point I paid, there was no complementary breakfast.This was disappointing. The mattress was a little too firm for my taste,but that's just me.My wife liked it. Conversations by people in the hallway sounded like they were in the room.I have this same problem with most hotels I have been in. The staff was very helpful and friendly.The room was clean with no obnoxious odors.I never had a problem finding a place to park the car. They have at least 4 Ice machines of which only one was working.The vending machines completely empty except for 2 items There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. They also have a restaurant and lounge on the 5th floor. If they resolve a few petty problems,this could be a great place.

Complimentary earplugs?

Pros: It was very conveniently located in Norton with several restaurants within walking distance. In fact I walked to dinner that night.
Cons: Room insulation!!
Location: You're right off the road in "downtown" Norton. There are several restaurants nearby and the hotel has one on the 5th floor.
I knew that I was in trouble when I after entering the room and looking around I noticed that the hotel had placed "complimentary earplugs" on the TV stand for my use. I would later find out that perhaps complimentary should be replaced with mandatory. The room was extremely noisy; there was a road on my side of the hotel and the road noise entering the room was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The road noise was equivalent to having the window open. On top of that a railroad ran close by and there was quite a bit of noise. If you visit the hotel I would recommend staying on the side away from the road.

Starting to go downhill

Pros: convenient location to family
Cons: starting to look and feel old and run down
Started staying at the Holiday Inn Norton right after their renovation or maybe they had just been built. Think it was around ten years ago. It's apparent though that the hotel is not receiving proper re-investment as it's looking very tired. Stayed in a two-room suite. Older furniture starting to look worn, mismatched overly bright cold florescent bulbs in the lamps. Not enough lighting in the room. Restaurant cutting back their opening hours, etc. I think ths will be our last stay there.

Decent hotel . Not really next to anything

Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean . Rooms were clean . very basic but comfortable. Nothing to do in the area

Everything about the hotel was exemplary.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel was a pleasant experience. Everything was up to date, very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Parking is conveniently located and there is a restaurant upstairs with excellent food. It was above average and also had a selection of wine and beer with some local tastes. The only bad thing about the room is there were no room darkening shades to pull closed so I had to clip them together with a clip I happened to have with us on the trip. The lights from outside were disturbing at night, but otherwise everything was pleasant. I would definitely return to this hotel and recommend it.

Best in Norton

The Holiday Inn is the nicest place to stay in Norton. It is more upscale with better amenities than the other hotels; of course, it is more epensive as well. Its location is on the opposite side of Norton from much of the commercial development. My first floor room was clean and roomy, although its location near a busy traffic light made it plenty noisy with trucks gearing down to stop. I had breakfast in the restaurant, which was nothing special... just OK.
