The bed and pillows were very hard. The breakfast area was so small it was extremely crowded with no room to sit to eat. Other guests checked in later in the evening and carried on past midnight: slamming doors, calling to one another in the hall, making numerous trips to the ice machine which was right down the hall from our room. I called the desk at 12:30 but the carrying on never stopped until after 1AM.

Remodeling ... Not so nice

Pros: Breakfast was fine
Cons: Everything ...
This hotel must have belonged to another hotel chain prior to Holiday Inn Express. It came up as "new" on holiday inn's website, but it was actually quite old. The hallways and elevator smelled of cigarettes and the parking lot was too small for the number of guests. The daytime staff was nice enough, but the night staff was poor. By contemporary standards, the room was quite small for 2 beds. All this was rather disappointing, considering it was labelled NEW.
