The shower was filthy after cleaning myself i could not get the shower on , the goxture was broken , broke my nail, and cut my finger, when report to front desk they offered another room which was dirty very bad communication

We used to stay in this hotel several times a year and it was awesome! There was a carriage ride and beautiful grounds to explore. We considered the hotel "classy". This time, not so much. I realize they were having difficulties with limited staff, but check-in time is 3:00 pm, we arrived around 4:00 pm and was told that our room was not ready and that they would call us when it was available. We went to the mall and hung around and never got a call. My husband called and was put on hold for 30 minutes to be told "oh yea, your room is ready". Our room was not cooling properly so we called the front desk and was told they would send up someone to check it out. No one ever came. They did not service our room the next day either. We were so disappointed that it had all changed so much. It's just another so-so hotel now with sub-average service. I doubt we will ever come back now.
