"Loved It"
We arrived at the airport at 9:30PM, December 30 2012. To transfer to the hotel we used Dominican Airport Transfer They charged us $45.00 for the van. We had group of 5 people and. Took us straight to the hotel in no time. We had our personal guide Susan meeting us along with the driver, we didn't expect anything like that, so it was a pleasant surprise. She accompanied us to the resort and also helped us to book couple tours and came to say "good buy" when we were leaving, as we used the same transportation method to get back to the airport. Very reliable and on time. Check in was fast and without any problems. We lived in the rooms 3301 and 3305, it is quite place as it is further away from all the commotion. Rooms were nice and clean. There is a bar in the rooms and soft drinks in the ridge, that got restocked every other day. There is safe, that worked just perfect and nothing got stolen from us. My teenage kids had IPODs, laptops, IPADS, you name it, everything came home safely. Lock you money, passports, electronics in the safe, it is big enough to fit it all. We were leaving small tips for the people we got to know- bartenders and maids and it would pay off, although you do not have to do it About food. We've been to a few resorts in Dominican Republic and Jamaica in the past and I can tell that food was very good. There are 4 restaurants on site, which you need to book. Hibachi and Mexican and Italian, but they are buffet style, but Steak House is full service restaurant and food was amazing. Also you have your regular buffet, that opened for breakfast, lunch and dinner, You would never go hungry It was pretty windy and the ocean was busy and noisy. We spent a lot of time on the ocean, "riding waives", some people brought small surf boards for kids and it was a lot of fun, like sledding in the winter Pool was very clean and swim up bar was busy starting at 11 AM, Entertainment Team was the best. We've been to a lot of resorts, and I can tell you, that those guys do everything possible to keep you entertained and busy since morning till night, they are the best- A+. From crazy games at the pool to archery, aerobics in the water and on the beach, latin dance lessons and nightly shows and dance afterwards, it is amazing, how those guys keep going. If you are looking for the fun- this is the right resort to book. If you have any questions, I will be glad to answer them, We had a lot of fun, it was hard to leave and looking forward to come back sometimes again

"We had a great stay at the Caribe Club."
Overall, we are very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for a week and had a blast. Our room was steps away from the ocean, pool, the restaurants, and beach bar. All the activities you could want to do were right there. We went scuba diving with Scuba Aquatic, parasailing (don't pay more than $80 for two people), and many more things. The all-inclusive was very handy as you didn't have to carry cash around with you. The food was pretty good and the drinks were even better. The rooms were a little outdated, but we didn't spend much time in the room anyways. The only thing I had a problem with in the room, was the bed mattress was thin and hard as a brick. I've been to the Bahamas, but the Dominican was much better. It was forecasted to rain every day, but it only rained at night for a couple hours and the days were very sunny. There were a few weeds on the beach, but weren't too bad till the last day we were there. The last day there were quite a few on the beach. This is a very good value for the price. I would stay there again...just next time I will upgrade to a suite.

"Feels like home but with a beach!"
The food overall was slightly above average for an all-inclusive property. Figuring out what was open and when was an issue. I highly suggest making dinner reservations when you check in for your entire trip. Otherwise you're stuck finding a buffet. Lots of seaweed on the beach. No microwave in the room. There isn't anywhere to get relief from the heat except your room. The kids zone wasn't open when we needed it. Other than those minor issues, it was fabulous. The rooms are great and the staff is prompt with room service and cleaning. Our mini fridges were always stocked.

"Good for the price"
The staff was friendly. Reservations at the ala carte restaurants were a little hard to make. Buffets were great. Beach is not private but clean and beautiful, and the closest inclusive bar is not too far. Definitely worth the room upgrade (which we paid for the 2nd day) because the villas are very far from the beach and more run down. Don't count on the Wifi. Even paying in the Internet cafe is slow. My biggest complaint is the housekeeping. We left our room at about 10 each morning and didn't return until 5 and only found our room clean 2 of 6 days. We had to track down a maid for towels, water bottles, and toilet paper. Even when I spoke to a maid on our floor at 2 pm about needing cleaning, it was not done when I got back at 5. Very annoying especially since the front desk gave me attitude when I asked for 2 extra towels the first night. "Can you explain to me right now why you need 2 more towels?" Uh, yeah- I like one for my head and one for my body when I get out of the shower. Rude. They were short on beach towels very often. With 2 pools and a beach spread over a half mile, there was still only one place to get towels and they were out about half the time so the line would be 20 people long... Time wasted.

"Very large, modern resort"
This resort was very nice. The staff was great (although communication is a little difficult at times if you don't understand Spanish) and accommodating. The lobby is beautiful with a nice bar, plenty of seating, a stage for shows, and a large buffet. There are two nice pools, 1 with a swim up bar which was awesome. There's plenty of seating around the pool and on the beach, with a few bars for food and drink right on the beach with shaded seating. The drinks were great, they use quality alcohol and the juices (Orange, pineapple, fruit punch) are delicious. There are a bunch of restaurants. The food at all of them is pretty much the same and very mediocre, but certainly edible. The best restaurant by far was the hibachi, it felt and tasted like real hibachi. The cook was very skilled and entertaining. The buffets are okay, but that's to be expected at an all inclusive resort. The seafood was good surprisingly, as was the breakfast and fruit, but that's a given on a tropical island. The worst food hands down was the pizza, but I wasn't expecting much from Caribbean pizza. Now onto the bad, which wasn't anything major or serious, just little annoyances: -flushing toilet paper was difficult and just didn't happen at times, even with minimal TP -hair dryer only worked half the times we tried it -TV channels would go in and out constantly -uncomfortable bed That's about it. Nice resort overall.
