Excellent central location - on a main artery with a lot of road noise at 4am if you leave the windows open

Hardest bed ever!!

The unit was very spacious with a separate bedroom, large bathroom, open kitchen and living area. It was equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven, full size refrigerator, stackable washer / dryer and ~40 gallon hot water heater. We stayed for 2 nights. The mattress was so hard; I couldn't sleep on it. After the first night, I asked for a mattress topper. The front desk person was very accommodating and we put it on the bed hoping that would help. One of the problems was that the mattress was really firm and placed on a solid foundation; therefore, there was no spring or give. The second night, I slept on the couch, which was at least tolerable. My 21 year old daughter even concurred that the bed was way too firm. I was told our unit had never been used before. I took a very long hot shower, but didn't leave enough hot water for my daughter. Seeing a separate 40-gallon hot water heater, we thought something was wrong. The front desk said the hot water tank was timed to only heat enough water for use in the evening or morning and would not heat up the water for another 12 hours or so. The timing on the hot water heater needs to get adjusted. We decided to take advantage of having on-site laundry. The washing machine worked perfectly. The dryer didn't work, after many cycles. We ended up using the hair dryer to dry our clothes. If these items could be fixed, it would be a great place to stay. The location is great; close to everything.

Thanks again Helen. I'm sorry for the issues you encountered with the hot water and the drier. We are in the process of changing all the timers on the hot water system so it will heat automatically more than once. We will check out the drier and replace if necessary. Regarding the bed, all of the beds are new, either Hypnos or Mattisons, and I guess a matter of personal taste. We have some mattress toppers on hand for those who find them too hard, but it seems this did not improve things as we hoped. Apologies once again for these issues.

SACO in Bath was great!

The staff was uniformly pleasant and helpful, it was in a nice central area, and the suite had everything we needed for our 5-day stay. SACO will now be our first choice.

Pros: loaction, convenience clean
Cons: directions on where to park on booking
Location: Roman Baths, Spa all htie sites of Bath. Loved the Mayor's walking tour
excellent location close to attractions in Bath, great amenities.I would highly recommend

Wish we couldn't have stayed longer; the rooms were so comfortable, easy to use, and the bedroom and bathroom were so spacious. Would definitely return.

Bath saco

Pros: Very clean and close to town
Location: Pubs shops attractions all walking distance
had 3 great nights in Bath at the Saco apartments just a short walk from the rail station, centrally located in town, Apartment was very clean and had all things you need ,Staff are very helpful and friendly would highly recommend this accommodation
