Fantastic location, the staff was incredibly helpful, the bus tour they suggested allowed us to see everything we wanted to. The room is small, but clean, convienent and comfortable.

If you keep in mind that this is a 2-star hotel/hostel you will not be dissapointed. The location in the Ciutat Vella is excellent having numerous restaurants and pastry/coffee bars within a 5 minute walk. La Rambla is 2 mins away, and two Metro stops (Liceu and Jaume I) are 5-10 mins away. The front desk guys speak English well and are quite friendly and helpful. The room maids, who rarely get credit, kept the room clean and tidy. The internet was available 98% of the time, and the breakfast bar was adequate. Rooms overlooking the street can be noisy as are some hotel guests, but overall, great value. I would stay there again.
