Great hotel!

Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Staff was extremely friendly and professional. Would definitely stay there again. Within walking distance of Inner Harbor and right next to Camden Yard.

Ideal location, friendly staff

Pros: Location and cleanliness of hotel
Location: Right across the street from camden yards and nearby are a few bars. Near convention center. Easy access to BW parkway.
This is our preferred hotel location when we come to Baltimore and go to Oriole events. Staff is friendly and we were able to check in at noon to our room. Valet staff is accommodating and quick. Rate in off-season is competitive. Room was clean and AC/heating worked well. Overall hotel is clean. Breakfast is your standard Hampton breakfast with waffles, sausage, eggs, yogurt, cereals, coffee and juices. Will definitely be back.

A Horrible Experience.

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Front desk personnel were unhelpful and abrupt.
Location: I don't know because we were sent 30 minutes away.
Booked a one night stay through Travelocity. Paid in advance. Arrived and hotel was overbooked. We were sent to a conference center a 30-minute cab ride away. Waited 20 minutes for the staff to process a voucher for the cab. Then were told we could only get a room with a single bed for our party of four adults. We were told we'd have to pay for an additional room. After raising heck, we were given two rooms. Did not get to bed until 2:00 a.m., thirty minutes away from the downtown area we planned to visit. A terrible experience. As an aside, they also had no parking availability in their garage. Sent us to a nearby Marriott garage pursuant to an arrangement they made with that hotel. Garage also full. Were next sent to a Holiday Inn garage; also full. Found parking at the Four Seasons on our own, which cost more than expected.

Beautiful hotel yet incredibly disappointing!

Pros: Location, beautiful facility, the bell staff
Cons: The front desk and concierge staff were rude and unsupportive. Parking charges were ridiculous!
Location: Downtown location. Easy access to ball field if desired, and a few restaurants close by.
This is the first negative review I have ever given a Hilton property. First let me say the property itself is perfectly located and a beautiful facility. These are the reasons I chose it for my stay in Baltimore. Now for the bad news: Day 1: I arrived around 5 PM to a very poorly staffed front desk (only 2) with lines of people in both the regular and Hilton Honors line. That night I turned on the TV intending to watch a movie, it didn't work. I called maintenance who came to the room and informed me the TV had not been programmed properly, he didn't know how, but said it would be fixed the next day. Day 2: The next day I left the room around 10:30 in the morning and returned at 11 PM to discover my room had NOT been made up and the TV was still not fixed. I called down to the front desk to report the issue and was told it was my fault because I was still in my room when housekeeping went past that morning and they were under no obligation to check back before leaving the floor, and they knew nothing about the TV. At my insistence they sent housekeeping up to take my trash and provide fresh towels. Day 3: TV was repaired after I spoke to the desk again. Day 4 and 5 All was uneventful but I had to notify housekeeping on the floor each day when I left in order to have the room serviced. Add to this parking is $30 per day (more than the rental car). The bell staff were the only friendly staff we encountered, but they were great.

Not worth it

As expensive as this hotel was you would think that they would have a fridge and a microwave, parking was too expensive, no added amenities or anything. The room was bare minimum in the cleaning department, and the appearance. Never again will I pay to stay there

Great hotel in the center of everything!!

Pros: The Bar had a Great tender, She was a true people person!!
Cons: Gets a little warm in the rooms overnight. Give me that same rate when there is a Orioles game in town lol
Location: Miss Shirley's café was great, Harbor Place, Orioles and Ravens parks very close, jus to mention a few.
It was truly comfy, and the staff was outstanding!!

Room not ready at designated check in time of 4:00

Pros: From previous visit to Baltimore.
Cons: Have rooms ready at check in. If you say you will text when room is ready, then do it! Offer compensation.
Location: Great location for attending Orioles game.
After over a half hour wait in line, were told room was not ready at 4:00. They took our phone # and said they would text us when room was ready.No text ever came. Went back at 5:10, still not ready. Had somewhere to go, so did not return till 10:30 pm to check in. VERY DISAPPOINTED with check process.
