The check in staff did not greet and couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone upon our arrival. Had to ask him 3 times to repeat himself when he did speak because he was mumbling. No amenities in the room such as travel size toiletries. There was also mold/mildew in the shower. The backs of the chairs in the lobby were all filthy with hand prints that have just built up over time. Very disappointed in our stay and we will not be back.

Hotel served its purpose for what i needed. The outdoor pool was a plus. Staff was very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to aid in comfort. The hotel itself could use a little work with its construction. However I would return for more nights stays and also refer this hotel to people traveling around that neighborhood.

False and lazy

So i booked a room thats 2 queen beds, I get there and verify with the front desk an he says yes then says oh we only have double beds here. The it didn't have cable of HBO like it said, I had to keep logging into the Wi-Fi every few min. And the worst thing at night there were bugs, so any food we bought the next morning either had bugs in then or on them, and our towels would have bugs.

Motel 6- Blach Springs, TX

Pros: Location was close to the people that we came to see, and there was a place to park a truck, and large trailer
Cons: New Carpet, and a Extermination service would be a great help.
Location: We were there to visit friends that live fairly nearby.
I plan to notify Motel 6 about this place. I am surprised that Travelocity affiliates itself with such a place-- Let alone Motel 6, put it's name on such a place. Our first impression when walking through the door was seeing a Threadbare carpet that was coming off of the wall and was shredded in several places (causing a tripping hazard). Next as we took our food over to the little desk and night stand, we saw several cockroaches at that time running up the wall, and later several much larger ones in the bathroom. Whether or not things were clean, it made you feel as if they weren't, due to the Bugs! We have usually had good experiences with Motel 6- usually clean and although not newer, just fine, and reasonably priced. This was the worst experience we have had at a Motel 6.

loved it, very surprised!

Pros: i like that it was clean and beyond my expectations for a motel 6.
Cons: staff friendliness
Location: it was a nice location around houses. very safe didnt feel like wed have our car taken during the night. the nearest thing is a gas station i believe
me and my boyfriend were very skeptical about getting a room here. but ive got to admit that it it the best hotel weve stayed at. better than days inn and la quinta. very clean and staff was cool. really do live up to their descriptions and pictures. we stayed 3 nights and we have nothing to really complain about. great place and great price not too far from all dallas attractions. loved it!

I did not like this hotel, it has changed

Pros: It looked to be neat and clean
Cons: The staff and their attitudes, pest control. Ants should not have been crawling around in the room
Location: The location was on I20 and Seagoville rd in Balch Springs Texas, nothing to do nearby. there are three corner stores around this hotel and that is it
I have stayed here before and the staff was much more friendlier. The elevator was broken so we had to walk up three flights of stairs to get to our room. Everything was nice and neat until in the morning when we woke up to use the restroom, ants were all over the floor in the restroom crawling on the floor and towels so we took pictures and video of the ants in the room. I went down to tell staff and they just tell me they will send an exterminator. The room was booked for two days so after we notified the staff of the ants issue, I expressed my concern with their disconcern so I asked the staff to give me a discount on the room and at first he said no but then he said he will give us a refund on the room but do not want us back at the Laquinta Inn any longer. He cancelled the room that was reserved for the next night and refunded my money back to my card. I have stayed there before and have had no problems but this time they had a pest control problem and when advising them of that instead of an apology he asked us to not come back to their hotel. Very unacceptable, I dared not to leave my things in the room where the bathroom was filed with ants and they could have been in the carpet, clothes and beds but we just didnt see any outside the bathroom. I really dont appreciate the manager asking us to not come back, only thing I did was rent a room that night and was dissatisfied. Staff is rude, I would not recommend
