It was close to the broadwalk.

At when we arrive that I had a problem about my card I had my money on wouldn't allow the staff pay for the room. Instead I just paid cash for it and every thing was fine expect the tvs in our room was not working right so we call down to staff to send someone fit it and they did correct the problem. For word the room was good and the service was too.

You get what you pay for

This is my second time staying in this hotel. The reasoning behind staying here MUST be because you cannot afford whatever Ballys/Caesars is charging. This hotel is not convenient (it's a 10 minute walk) to Ballys, it's not the safest (we took the stairs twice and found used needles), and it's not the best quality service. We were allowed early check in, and they gave us extra blankets. However, we needed extra blankets because the heat did not work at all during our stay. It was 30 degrees some nights, and we both ended up feeling a little sick. Our room was not cleaned during our stay, and the last night the fire alarm went off and they left it blinking until the next day, which left the elevator out of service. The most troubling part of our stay was on our first night when we returned back to our room our door was opened. At 2:30am. Not locked and not shut. We had asked for more blankets, and we assumed they forgot to shut the door after leaving them. We are very lucky that nothing was stolen, and we left it at an accident. There was no safe in the room, and after that night we felt no other choice but to carry a back pack with our valuables the rest of our trip. In the future we will need to be more flexible with our dates, so we can make sure to stay at one of the resorts. We've decided that the price is not worth the stress.

Do not go here

By far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in! Dirty rooms in run down conditions, took three try's before we got a room with working AC.. No working phones, broken bed, the tub/ shower had been painted to hide the sad state of its condition, light fixtures were missing the gloves/covers. TV only had six stations. While the rates were reasonable the hotel left you wondering if you were safe.. The parking, which they made you pay for daily, was questionable.. Trash everywhere, needles and used condoms littered the lot, and there never seemed to be any effort to clean up. Do not book a room here

Hotel is old and smell's,parking is bad.

Pros: The hotel rate.
Cons: Paint, new carpet. The area needs to be built up.
Location: I was just in for one night,in and out
Walls are thin, can here the people in the next room.the parking lot is dark in a bad area, you have to pass garbage dumpsters full of garbage.

Old hotel looks haunted

The worst hotel I ever stayed at. The check in person Sam was rude and kept throwing money, my cards, and hotel cards on counter instead of placing in my hand. I don't know if it is because I'm African American and he didn't like that I don't know. The bed linens were unclean and refrigerator was broken and dirty, and air conditioning did not work. Outside my window all I could see was a white brick building. I asked for a different room with working air and the girl who was now on duty was friendlier and changed my room which had Air, a better view, clean looking bed but smaller room and no cable channels plus all the way on the 14th floor.

Set up is nice. Everything else is bad!

The initial setup of room is nice. Where you have two rooms and two bathrooms but the condition is pretty rough. One bed frame was broken, ac in one of the two rooms was kicked in and broken, cable worked when it wanted too. The one bath drain was clogged. Floor wasnt swept when we arrived. Had electrical issues with sockets, hair dryer actually caught on fire. told person at desk about every issue and nothing was fixed. We ended up using our small cooler to hold bed up, i unclog the drain myself, we left the doors that seperate living room and bed room open so is was just warm overall. Only positives was being there was five of us we had two rooms so wasnt cramped for the week, and the boardwalk and beach is right there. My sister rented a room as well and did not fair as well as we did. She actually had to switch rooms it was sooo bad. Please do yourself a favor and spend a little more elsewhere and get alot better room and potentially better stay!

Better than expected!

I did a lot of research before I booked a room. I must say the reviews I read where less than perfect but I must say I was greatly surprised! The room was much bigger than I thought it would be and very clean. The only negative I would say is that the elevators where kind of old so they make noise and are slow, but at least we never got stuck! I would definitely stay again.

Please avoid this hotel..anywhere else is better.

When i arrived at the baymont inn. It already looked and felt uncomfortable. The 3 men behind the counter was rude wile checking my husband and I in. When we went to the room. It was dirty and smelled. The bathroom wasn't even functional. The tub floor had mold. There was no towels or anything in there. The couch looked like they got it out of a dumpster. We went back down to the lobby and asked for another room. The man gave me a attitude and rolled his eyes then asked why do we need another room? I told him what i saw. The 2nd room we got had a cleaner tub but there was holes all over. We woke up to huge bugs in the bed. My husband discoverd that a window was missing thats why bugs got in and we were freezing all night. Mold in the ceilings. We were offered drugs by one of the geust. The breakfast was a joke. Bagels, bread and juice. The elevator smelled and was dirty..i could not sleep at all. We planned to stay the weekend but was so uncomfortable we left the next day. DO NOT STAY THERE.
