Not family friendly

Not a family friendly stay. Filthy room with dirty sheets, whole building reeked of smoke even though all rooms said non smoking. We booked motel 6 because usually it is at minimum clean and relatively comfortable. This one had questionable folks loitering about and driver almost ran right into our family in the parking lot...Didn't even slow down. Skip it.

Not the safest place to stay

There are thugs hanging out all day and all night in the hallways where the rooms are and also hanging out on the outside of the property. The motel leaves the back or side door open all the time in which anyone can enter the hotel without a key card. A guest had his vehicle damaged while parked on the property. Another guest had their vehicle stolen. I will not stay at that motel again.

Pros: The room was pleasant and I like the new furniture and designs that appear to be much easier to clean. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: After reading the above, I don't think I need to explain further.
Location: Airport.
From start to finish, absolutely worst hotel stay of my life,, and I'm 65. It took 45 minutes to get checked in (my brother waiting noted the clock) Finally went to my room,put my key in door, there was someone inside!! But back to the beginning. There was a line 10 people deep, one person on duty with bad attitude. Then shift change made it slower. When finally my turn, it took 10 more minutes, attendant appeared to not understand program. Imagine my surprise when I get to the desk and see a sign taped DOWN on the desk, instead of on the front door, or a standing sign where people walking in could see- not exact quote but - "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to remodeling, our elevator is out of order" etc etc. 6 FLOORS. At 65 I'm booked on 6th floor. Gratefully my brother was still waiting. Trudging up 6 floors,by 4th I was huffing & puffing. On 5th I was dizzy, legs were shaking, but made it one more. Key opens door which slams into safety lock! Someone is inside! I go back down, find out the person had paid for more than 1night. Get a new room, and trudge back up. At least the room was remodeled and clean and AC worked but I put two chairs and a table by the door to be alerted if someone tried to open my door. WHAT A DISASTER. I've stayed in many Motel 6s but never have I been anywhere so horrible or had a desk personnel with such a dont vie a rip attitude. Convience to the airport wasn't worth it.

Sold our room out from under us.

I had a conformation number for this hotel. When I arrived they told me they had no rooms available. Of course because a lot of other people were stranded in Atlanta they were able to sell our room out from under us for a lot more money. Bad Hotel chain. Should be put out of business.

Turn the other way and RUN!

When I booked the motel, they neglected to mention their elevator had been out for 2 weeks and only had 1 stair well...clear at the opposite end of where our room was. There was zero water pressure in the rooms, and it took 15 minutes of running water to even get it close to hot. The hallways smell like Marijuana. There are hookers coming and going at all hours of the night and day. The door key cards cancel out daily causing you to be unable to get into your room. The ice machines didn't work. The maids don't clean your room if they simply don't feel like it. Their sense of urgency to help their guests is non existent, especially if it inconveniences them in any way. They don't clean the stair wells (there was a giant hair wad sitting on a landing for 2 days that numerous hotel staff walked past). The fixtures in the bathroom fell apart when we touched them. The phone in the room doesn't work, along with 2 different power outlets. The rollaway bed we requested had stains all over it that are now permanent due to not being cleaned properly. The lock on the door was so rusted, it fell off in my hand when I touched it, and this was an "updated" room. Any time we had a question or a request, we got any eye roll from the staff. The only "positives" of staying here are the pool (it's actually in decent shape and relaxing) and their staff member named Clay. He was helpful and respectful. Do not stay here unless you want hooker stories and bad service.

Quiet time

Pros: location
the hotel was in a great location. the checkin process was a breeze. the staff handle problem that occur at checkin quickly and effectively. What was disappointing was not having any blankets on the bed, sheets where all flat so the bottom sheet that should have been fitted did not stayed on the bed. the remotes only wok to go up or down on volume and channel. could not use guide to even see what the name of the program was watching. most disappointing was the fact that I had a late flight and could not do a late check out. other hotels in area allow at least a late check out of 3pm.

Dicey, Insecure, Unsafe Vibe!

All the doors marked "reentry requires requires key" were broken. Man with holstered firearm in elevator. Some other guests seemed strung out on drugs… The facility is deteriorating. Our room, however, was adequate.

You get what you pay for

Pros: Pool and room were clean. Did not here the planes.
Cons: Electrical outlets other than in the bathroom and on a lamp.
Location: It was near the airport. No attractions, only a small selection of places to eat within walking distance.
Long wait to check-in because only 1 person working. Room was clean, but mattress sagged to the middle. Key stopped working and could not get in from pool or get into room. No outlets by the beds to charge cellphone or plug in a medical device. Breakfast was advertised but apparently it is only on weekdays. Pool was clean.

Close to airport

Smelled, bed was horrible. Hotel needs a total remodel. Found myself needing a room unexpectedly. Picture of hotel was deceiving. Cheap but would not stay there again. Lesson learned.

Atlanta airport

Front desk staff were very nice. Hotel in very poor condition. Ice machines not working, floors terribly stained, bathroom tiles in tub had mold, and air conditioner not working. Limited breakfast foods available. Will not revisit!!!!!!!!!
