Milltown Suite Apartment is in a 1920’s farmhouse with its own private entrance and an interior that has been remodeled and furnished with cabin decor. It has an electric fireplace in the living room that can be used year round. It has a king size bed (with no foot board for the tall people). The bedroom has a TV with ROKU built in. It has a bathroom with a big 6ft soaker tub/shower. There is a granite countertop in the full kitchen(refrigerator with ice maker, range, dishwaher and microwave). This apartment also has a washer and dryer, so you don't have to pack alot of clothes. Towels, washclothes, and bed linens are provided. There is fast cable WiFi and good cell phone service. It is located about 25 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway(at 4 access points) and downtown Waynesville. Downtown Asheville is about 20 minutes and Brevard is only 40 minutes away.

Great Location to enjoy Maggie Valley/Waynesville
Unit was very clean and is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Parking is out front on the street. Very close to all the area has to offer. Perfect for a couple who can navigate steps easily with a small pet that can be carried. Very well stocked kitchen. To avoid the steps we will pay the higher nightly cost for the lower floor units next time. All in all however, a great place to stay to enjoy the area.

Nice Place for a Getaway
The apartment was nice. Spacious and clean. However there is a factory close by that produces some unpleasant smells. And the dog in the apartment below barks/whines a lot when the owner isn't there. However, it is a great place to stay overall that is easy to get to and has many things to do near by. And the check in/check out process is very easy.

Central location with a small town feel
This is a great location that made it very easy for my husband and I to explore a great deal of WNC. We have hiked a lot of the trails nearby, so we decided to drive about an hour and a half to Roan Mountain which was absolutely worth it. It is one of the most beautiful hikes we have ever done. We also visited Sylva, Dillsboro, Waynesville, and of course Asheville in just 3 days. The apartment is in walking distance to downtown which has some delicious eateries and a few shops. It is cozy, fresh and stocked with everything needed for a stay. Great place!

Perfect Place and Great Location!
My wife and I loved our stay here. The place was great for our pup too! Canton has a few good restaurants, a cute downtown, and its own brewery! But FYI, it does have a paper mill too, and sometimes that smell can slap you in the face, but it's not always noticeable. On top of that, it's just a 30 minute drive to Asheville and numerous hiking trails. We definitely recommend it and would be happy to stay here again!

Great Thanksgiving escape
My husband and I were looking to get away for thanksgiving with our 2 dogs. One of our dogs is extremely anxious from abuse before we rescued her and it would be too stressful for her to be boarded over thanksgiving when kennels are full and extremely noisy. So we had to have a dog friendly rental. It was a relief to find this unit that allows dogs. The location was fantastic in that it was about 1/2 mile walk to an awesome coffee shop, nice restaurant and also a sandwich/sub shop that was so good that we ate there multiple times. (There is a hill that you have to walk up/down for that walk to town.) Our main goal was a change of scenery during Covid and to hike with the dogs. There are tons of trails nearby that you don’t even have to get on the Blueridge Parkway for (Shining Rock/Graveyard Fields was beautiful and easy on our one aging dog). We also drove to Weaverville, Brevard for the NC Arboretum and Presnell’s Produce for farm fresh eggs and local cheese. The apartment had every comfort we needed. The bed was comfy, we enjoyed the electric fireplace and the kitchen had a big coffee maker, toaster, blender, wine opener, pans etc. If you forced me to pick one thing to improve I would say to get a 3M Command hook for the bathroom so that there was an easy place to hang a towel for when you take a shower but that is a tiny thing. We really enjoyed our stay and the owners were awesome. We would gladly rent from them again. As a note, this is an apartment on the 2nd floor of a house, if you have difficulty with stairs, they rent the first floor as well. Reach out to the owner for that unit. Thank you to the owner for allowing dogs!! We hope all renters with dogs keep their pet well behaved so that it isn’t ruined for everyone. 💙

Location, Location, Location!
We brought our 2 dogs to NC to hike and fly fish. This was the perfect location to explore from Canton to Sylva, Shining Rock Wilderness, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Short walk into town to brewery, coffee shop, and a couple restaurants which was great so we didn't have to get back into the car and go out again after a long day of outdoor play. We have 2 well-behaved medium size dogs and really appreciate that we could bring them here. This unit is the whole upstairs floor of a quaint, clean, older (but updated) home, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
