Wonderful experience

Had a wonderful time at the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort. This was my first time to Aruba so I do not have anything to compare against, but to me and my family, we would not hesitate to suggest the Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort to anyone. The Hotel Staff was excellent and did their best to accommodate any request we had. Just across the street was Eagle Beach which took less than 5 minutes from my room to sitting on a Chaise Lounge under a hut on this beautiful beach. The atmosphere was so relaxing, with no cares to worry about.

Pros: Everything, location, staff, food, cleanliness, quiet, the list goes on, not one complaint
Cons: Just more vacation time
Location: Eagle beach location perfect, into town one way 10 mins up to Palm beach 10 mins the other way
First time in Aruba first time at the Amsterdam Manor, both awesome would highly recommend to anyone. Stayed for 10 nights could not find fault with anything.

Uma semana agradável

Uma ótima estadia em Aruba. O hotel fica bem localizado entre o Centro e Palm Beach., em frente a melhor praia da região. Oferece uma estrutura de praia que torna a estadia ainda mais agradável. Os funcionários são muito amáveis, educados, muito simpáticos. No fim da tarde happy hour no bar da piscina de onde podemos acompanhar o por do sol. Em alguns dias happy hour com música ao vivo. O hotel tem bons restaurantes e um deles oferece jantar romântico na praia. Foi uma agradável surpresa esse hotel acolhedor, ´com boas características de um hotel à beira mar e um atendimento mais personalizado. Acabou superando minhas expectativas

Another wonderful stay!

This was our second stay at AM. We loved it so much last year, we returned again this year. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the staff is attentive and very friendly. While doing laundry half way through our stay, we walked around the hotel and selected our room for our 2017 trip to Aruba. Highly recommend the hotel and its proximity to Eagle Beach is just a bonus!

The hotel feels more like a big home. The views are fantastic and the property is spotless. A nice Mediterranean feel to the place. Great for couples who are looking for tranquility, but fun is steps away. There's a large supermarket called Super foods a short stroll away as well. Eagle beach is literally across the road. Restaurants and jet ski. We had a one bedroom suite and it was spacious and nicely decorated. We will go back.

Optamos pelo Studio Standard, acomodação excelente, atendeu nossas necessidades. A proximidade com a praia (em frente ao hotel) é o melhor atrativo, sem necessidade de reservar cadeiras na praia. Os funcionários são atenciosos, nos atenderam quanto ao pedido de troca de acomodação para um de mesmo padrão, porém, com vista parcial do mar. Recomendamos.

Eagle beach

Standard resort right across the street from beautiful Eagle Beach. Room was very comfortable, good AC and clean. Restaurants were decent. Ate lunch 2x at "Passions"- very good but beware of birds and insects flying everywhere throughout your lunch. Had breakfast only one morning at "Mangos", and was extremely disappointed. We must have gotten there after the rush (around 10 am) and there was barely anything left and no one working the omelette station. Pretty much paid almost $15 pp for boiled eggs and toast. Ordered room service one night and it was tasty, but not many options. Glad we didn't do all inclusive. Service was a hit or miss- remember you're on Aruba so they do go at a much slower pace than back in the US. Eagle beach is definitely much nicer than Palm beach. One of the main reasons why we chose this location. No casino on resort but there is one right next door at the neighboring resort-4 min walk. Rented a jeep one day. Best way to see the island, but you can probably see the whole island in one day so not worth renting it more than that. Downtown Oranjestad had a nice mall, many restaurants and shops, so went there a lot to eat and walk around when we needed a break from the beach. Overall, would probably stay at Amsterdam Manor again, but definitely will stay on Eagle Beach. If you don't want to stay at one of those commercial type-high rise hotels on Palm beach, and prefer something a little more Lowkey,basic and access to a beautiful beach, then stay here!

Lunch is served open-air and therefore available for not only living souls like us, but also the fauna of our beautiful island. My apologies regarding your breakfast experience. We display over 50 food and beverage items daily and we are happy that we receive many compliments about the array of fresh products. Our room service is indeed narrow in choices, since all our rooms have kitchenettes and thus for most guests not an option. Room service for your information is not part of our All Inclusive. Concerning our All Inclusive program, this is one of the most exclusive ones on Aruba. You can choose from 3 restaurants, table service and eat a la carte from our exquisite menus for lunch and dinner. A big difference from the regular hotels were you need to stand in line of buffets with restricted food options. We hope to see you again in the future and you always can reach us at the Amsterdam Manor and ask for our F&B Manager.

A lovely Experience

Pros: Quiet location. Beautiful beach.
Cons: Towels should be available at the pool. Beach attendants could be more helpful. Bottled water should be provided with room.
Location: Beach, restaurants, shopping nearby but many are not within walking distance.
Located on Eagle Beach in the "low rise" section. Quiet and peaceful. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Would recommend renting a vehicle. Many sites and attractions not within walking distance. Taxis can be costly.

Great location with outstanding staff!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and attentive at every function from wait staff (Juan, Marleny and others) at Mangos (at breakfast) to Vincent and Keyshawn at Passions. Eagle Beach across the street with beach loungers was all I needed in the morning and afternoon. I can see why so many visitors come back to the Amsterdam Manor.

Amsterdam Manor

Pros: Small an cozy. Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Cons: Towels available at the pool. Hot tub would have been nice.
Location: Directly across from Eagle beach. You have to travel if you want to go downtown or to the North end (High rise hotels).
Ideal location for me & my girlfriend - away from all the hustle/bustle and was relaxing. Very close to the local grocery store - within walking distance. Across the street from Eagle Beach which was beautiful! All staff were very helpful. Sunset Catamaran cruise was wonderful - left from Palm Beach. Half day island tour was informative and enjoyable. Food cost are high - likely due to everything being imported. 15% gratuity is added at the resort and at some offsite eateries (divided among cooks/food prep workers/dish washers/wait staff). For inter-island travel we used the bus system which is reasonable and runs every 20 minutes. There were an ample number of cabs available as well.
