Very well located in the center of the village of Arques-la-Bataille (small town with all amenities) 5 minutes from Dieppe (city of art and history famous for its old castle, its cliffs and the lawns of the beach which host events regularly).
Direct access to the green avenue for sportsmen and walkers, near ponds for fishermen; you can also discover the castle ruins of Arques-la-Bataille and relax in the big forest.
On the ground floor:
* large well equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, L. V, microwave)

* large bathroom with bath and large shower

Schönes Haus in schöner Umgebung
"les Hortensias" ist ein sehr gut ausgestattetes, liebevoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus, der sprachlich bedingt schwierige Kontakt zum sehr netten Vermieter war problemlos. Die Straße, die einige Schritte vom Haus verläuft, ist vor allem unter der Woche recht belebt, aber das hat uns als vierköpfige Familie mit zwei nahezu erwachsenen Kindern kaum gestört. Arques la Bataille ist ein belebter Ort mit einer wundervollen Kirche und einer sehenswerten Burg, die nicht begehbar ist, ein Spaziergang um die Ruine bietet aber schöne Ausblicke. Die Nähe zu Dieppe bietet großartige Möglichkeiten und wir hätten es durchaus länger als eine Woche ausgehalten, was leider nicht möglich war. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder!

Excellent WE entre amis dans ce lieu de qualité !
Nous avons eu l'honneur d'inaugurer ce beau gite. Un week-end entre amis à deux familles, 4 adultes et 4 enfants. Le gîte est calme car en retrait de la route. On n'y entend absolument rien, si ce n'est les chants d'oiseaux. Les lieux sont bien pensés et aménagés, décorés avec goût, les matériaux et les équipements sont de qualité. Les espaces de vie au rdc permettent de d'être à l'aise et que chacun ait sa place. La cuisine est spacieuse et bien pensée. Les chambres sont confortables et décorées avec goût. Les deux salles de bain permettent une bonne organisation même à huit. Pour l'extérieur, la terrasse plein sud, son canapé confortable et son store incitent à un moment de détente. La grande table en verre extérieure permet de manger a 8 aussi. Enfin l'espace de pelouse est idéal pour les enfants, pour taper quelques ballons, courir et se défouler. Nous avons laissé une petite liste de remarques et d'améliorations à Mr TELLIER qui nous l'avait demandée, mais qui concerne de légers détails vu le niveau de qualité de départ ! La voie verte à proximité est idéale pour le vélo avec les enfants. Arques bénéficie aussi vraiment de tous les commerces. Pas la peine de courir au supermarché à qq kilomètres. Conclusion : on y reviendra avec plaisir !
