We really like our stay at this resort . It’s very convenient for families with kids between 0-10 . Our kids 9 and 7 enjoined the kids pool with slides, and that everything is close by like beach, pool and food. The resort grounds are beautiful, beach is amazing , no seaweeds, soft sand. We came to DR for the sun, pool and beach and this resort has everything we need it. Our room had the ocean view, with beautiful sunrise . Everything is in walkable distance. The only complaints I have are the kids club and towels in our room ( the lack of it ) they only gave us 2-3 towels and we are a family of 4. Kids club could be a little better , our kids did not really want to stay in it because it was boring, and every time we went there ,there were no activities going in even when there was something on schedule.

Getting there: - 30 minutes which is nice Check in: - drink; nice quick check in; did it online; Nina was amazing and followed up with us to make sure we had all we needed. Right on it Platinum Upgrade: - worth every penny - free room service - special area on beach with amazing chairs; upgraded private bar right on beach and restaurant just for platinum right there. Patricio and Andres were outstanding and amazing with service. - private room for breakfast amazing service. - two additional restaurants for platinum members - worth it’s weight in gold. - upgraded WiFi too. Room: - love the room. Roomy and big. - WiFi an issue but fixed right away - air conditioning wonky yet they came in twice to fix. - nice bathroom. Restaurants: - book online and several choices - all good and what expected for 3 star - buffer for lunch and dinner good. Pools and Beach: - very nice groomed beach - plenty of shade - swim up bar and nice pools - lots of shade - twice daily entertainment with fun activities daily Bars: - front bar nice with music - beach bar nice at night. General: - groomed and cleaned daily - fantastic walk from front area and hotel area (with shuttle if needed) birds; turtles; wonderful flora. Overall: - amazing relaxing week.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Grand Caribe Deluxe Resort, Santo, Ginette and Yafreisy were among the best staff. The best bar was the lobby bar. The resort was very clean, food options were good. Before I came here, I read reviews from previous travelers that almost discouraged me from coming but I’m glad I made the trip to this resort. I can confirm that there are no bed bugs in this resort and encourage people to come here.
