Breakfast was a joke... cold coffee... mo milk... no hot food. I am diabetic and must eat. Everything was high in carbs except a few apples that looked like they had been there since Adam picked them. Yogurt was Activia... awful stuff. I come to DSM often... stayed there a few times. Won’t do it again. Oh... and the pillows were thin, flat, and uncomfortable. And the heater sounded like it was about ready to blast off. The shower curtain didn’t reach the top of the tub. Water all over the floor.

Disgusting

The room was dirty, with stains on the comforter and the bathtub had dirt residue that had not been cleaned for sometime. I left almost immediately after checking in, because this hotel is unfit to stay in, and the staff lack customer service!

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

Pros: The attendant did try to let me pick a better room, after 3 rooms I think it was a lost cause.
Cons: everything
Location: lots of restraunts, the Mexicaqn restraunt next door is good.
Check in was fine, attendant wasnt overly friendly, not rude just there. Room had such a musty / maybe mold smell I request differetn room, the next 3 rooms all had smell and some had dehumidifiers running. So settled on last room and once door was shut then the animal urine smell became evident (and there was a humidifier running), we ended up sleeping w/ window open (october 3, 2015) at 45 degrees because smell was that bad. the pillows were about sixe of 8x13 cake pan (2 queen beds), bathtub was filthy, and dehumidifier running all night because shutting it off was even worse. Longest night of my life. The other couple who stayed in another room, there room was fine or we would have left. MISERABLE!!

Slum of a hotel

The hotel itself was a bit dingy and run down, though there were signs posted that they were remodeling. Our room smelled terribly musty with a strong pine deoderizer. The room felt damp and was the worst room I've ever stayed in. Unfortunately the state fair was going on so there were absolutely no rooms anywhere else.

very filthy

The only reason I chose to stay here was the convieniance. But rhe hallways looked like they haven't been vacuumed in a long time, dirt in the bathroom corners, dirt, spills on the walls throughout the room and bathroom, rust and mold in the tub and surrounding, holes barely fixed in the walls. Broken back door so when you go to use the card to let you in.... it won't unlock, so there is tape covering the sensor leaving the hotel unsecure. I wish for a refund as the next night we stayed at another location (due to weather conditions) had much much better accomodations at a much cheaper price...including room service !!!
