Most gorgeous hotel in Queretaro!!

Location: The location is perfect!! You can walk all over the historic center of town from there.
This hotel is breathtakingly beautiful! We were first given a room at the very top of the hotel. It was a very nice room with a fabulous patio from which you could see the tops of the numerous churches around and the birds and the sky. However, you couldn't see much else and to get to the room you had to navigate a very steep circular staircase. That was fine for me but not so much for my 86-year-old mother. I asked if there was any chance of changing rooms and, most happily, we were moved the very next day (we were staying there for 9 nights). The new room was even more beautiful and on a corner so that we had balconies on two different streets. We could see so much from our room! Street musicians (so lovely!), two jardines, fireworks, churches, sellers on the street of all sorts of handicrafts, etc. And the music in the evening was so very nice! The staff was extremely helpful and always very pleasant! My only complaints are that the beds are like rocks (really very, very hard) and several things about the hotel seemed to be in need of some repair. It's kind of like they are not doing much to keep it well-maintained. But, nonetheless, I would stay there again, in a heartbeat, because it is so fabulously located, everyone was extremely accommodating, and the hotel is just drop-dead gorgeous.
