Perfect Girls weekend getaway
Our group consisted of six ladies who were taking the weekend to reconnect, chat, relax, and visit Jim Thorpe. This property was perfect. It offered plenty of space for us to spread out and for most of us to have our own bed.. The main living area is large and open and very comfortable. That is where we spent the majority of our time when we were at the house.
The kitchen is well stocked with anything that you might need to prepare your own meals in the house. There is also a lower level with additional seating, foosball, ping pong, and air hockey.
It ended up snowing a bit the first night that we were there and that was a beautiful sight to see. We also saw tons of deer in the neighborhood. We were there a bit before prime season, but the neighborhood seems very quiet and family friendly. And the houses are spaced apart to allow for privacy.
Our group came with two cars and there was plenty of space for easy parking and unloading when we arrived.
We enjoyed using the propane fireplace on the main level. It really added to the ambience and feeling of coziness while we were there. Also Dave and Kim were very helpful with any questions that we had and responded quickly. It is obvious that they have taken a lot of time and care creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.
We also visited the town of Jim Thorpe on Saturday afternoon, which was an easy 20 to 25 minute drive.
We definitely recommend this lovely property .
