Here’s what is good about this place: the price is decent and these are cool antique cabins. What was NOT good was the MANAGEMENT. They advertise fireplaces but you aren’t allowed to use them because they haven’t been inspected in two years. They also advertise “fully equipped kitchens” but they actually only have microwaves; there are no stoves and no sinks. There are sinks in the bathroom, but these are old hot water heaters that go out if you don’t operate the faucets just so. The WIFI only works in some cabins, which is also annoying. Worst of all, they throw guests out at 10AM (which is ridiculous for people on vacation.) Lastly, and hopefully this won’t happen to anyone else, the owners kids were running around while I was checking in and one of them literally karate-chopped me. The owner never apologized. I thought her attitude toward her guests and her property was rude and unprofessional. If Chinook was under new management, I would stay here again. Otherwise just be warned that this place is not what it advertises itself to be.

This guest was has created a false review in that the water heaters are new & she was told how to use them properly. Not all cabins have full kitchens & the one you rented is not advertised as having one. It has the amenities quoted on line. The children that were in the office are not ours. They belonged to a guest who was in the office and did apologize for his child's actions after he was prompted to play by the guest. Wifi does work in the cabins & you were informed we updated it so you could use your phone. We clearly show the check out time on the check in paper you signed. If you would of asked for a later check out we could of worked with you. As it was you didn't even leave until 1130 when we told you of the check out time at 1045. you weren't even planning on leaving at 11. Fireplaces do need maintenance and you were informed we were getting it done. You choose to use the fireplace at your own risk.
