While in a search for a hotel for my family and I to stay as we travel to south Texas for the holidays, literally the only filter i entered for my search was POOL and HOTUB. The pool/hotub area looked like a perfect area for my family and i to order some pizza and relax after 12 hours on the road. Upon arrival, the very first question i asked was. Pool/hotub area is open right? i could not wait to get my lower back in that hottub. To my dismay, the pool/hottub area were completely shut down. We were very disapointed. Then, we get to our room and there was a crew in the room above us with hammers and sawsaws. it was so loud that my 4 year old was hiding under the blankets crying until finally after an hour they stopped. It was not a great start. The staff were very apologetic and i believe they tried their best. Once construction is done and pool area is open this will be a great place to stay. I do feel that if the pool area is closed for an extended period of time that we should have been notified. it was clear that all of this had been going on for weeks or even months.

Need to let it be known on web site when pool and. Hot tub out of service only reason I got room in first place was wedding anniversary an we wanted to swim and relax even came in day early so got to days then after checking in note on counter has no pool or hot tub both out of order yeah
