Nice hotel and friendly staff!

Great staff

I stopped at this hotel for 2 nights to catch up on sleep while traveling. As other reviewers state, it is cozy and basic with a tiny elevator and narrow, winding staircase. I had two separate reservations, the first on the first floor, the second on the ground floor. Both rooms had electric blinds that really blocked out the light well. One can somewhat hear other guests outside her door and there is a slight rumbling from the metro that can be felt occasionally on the ground floor. I was not bothered by these things but a light sleeper might be. There is also a small kitchen where one can enjoy simple meals to keep costs down. I used it to cut up melons to enjoy in my room. Very handy. The best feature is the friendly and helpful staff. I stayed a second night because of them. They are courteous and professional and devoted to making one's stay a comfortable one.
