Definitely worth upgrading the room to a lake view, with a balcony. The view was incredible. The room was very large and comfortable, The breakfast in the morning had everything you could want, and the service was great.
The interior of the hotel is really great, it's clean and well decorated. Although it's small but that is not an issue. The room we stayed in is clean and comfortable, had a view of Taal lake but there are houses within your view. It is windy and i love it! I love the feel of the lobby. They even have a pianist (very nice music!) during breakfast. The staff are really pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a place to stay overnight in Tagaytay :-)

The hotel room is just the right size for two people. Linens are clean, there are plenty of cabinets for your things. There is a safe to keep your valuable and a fridge to store your food. The hotel is just across a big eating place. It is worth mentioning that the small cafe in the hotel is also a welcome surprise. Price is reasonable. I love this place.
Disappointing reception right off the bat by the receptionist. There were no other customers and it literally took her a couple of minutes to even acknowledge our presence as we try to check in. The receptionist just took a quick glance and looked back down on the computer to continue whatever she was working on. Called the same receptionist twice and asked for a pick from the nearby mall area. The ride never came. She didn't even apologize when we got back to the hotel (we took a cab instead) and told her about our pick up ride back to the hotel. She just went back texting on her phone. On one occasion, my son asked the same receptionist to arrange for a ride to the mall. She rudely said ask the other receptionists and walked to the back of the reception area to text someone. I had to call a complaint about the cigarette smoke coming into our bathroom from the vent. Need I say more?
