We were able to evacuate from south Florida to Kissimmee and Maingate offered us a room at a discounted $64 per night (no price gouging!!) They offered hi-speed internet, hot, onsite made-to-order Pizza Hut pizzas along with a poolside Tiki bar. An awesome place to hide from a hurricane. On the day ...
Friendly employees, check in quick. Huge 2 bedroom villa which was very comfortable and stocked well. Sorry to say though, this "resort" feels more like a condo complex wanting to be a resort. Pools were average and nothing to brag about. Didnt use other limited amenities. Could not golf as the course ...
This hotel is very close to Disney World, inexpensive and has a generous free breakfast; reasons it garnered three stars. On the downside there was a dearth of outlets to charge electronics (I recommend you bring an extension cord), the bed was too hard and the rug rather dingy.
The rooms, the location, the staff and facilities far exceeded our expecatations. Our rooms were beautiful, we were overlooking the mini golf, inside our rooms we never heard outdoor noises. Security was excellent. We had 4 rooms, with 15 people and all of us enjoyed our stay there.
Perfect if going to Disney. Centrally located to shopping and dining.
Overall a good base camp! Didn't use any of the offered amenities
Pools are really nice. Not a five-star place. I'd say it is pretty close to a four star. Rooms are clean and smell good. Beds could be a little bit more quieter. But overall it is a pretty nice place.
The Westgate was a beautiful resort hotel. I had everything in my suite I could ask for. The people at the check in were very pleasant and the wait was short. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone I know and would love to stay there again.
