Overview

Lokobe is a home to a large colony of lemur macaques and other lemur species. Claire’s day microcebo and the nocturnal Mirza Zaza and Nosy Be’s lepilemide. Among the six species of chameleons, there is the smallest chameleon in the world, the Brochesia Minima, which is only a few millimeters long. Among the geckos, is the Uroplatus or leaf-tailed gecko, an animal that exploits mimicry. Among the amphibians housed in the reserve lives one of the smallest frogs in the world, Rhombophryne pygmaea, and endemic to Lokobe

Pick up start at 07:00 at your place of accommodation. You will take a drive south east of Nosy Be to the fishing village of Ambatozavavy. Then continue to pirogue where lush landscapes composed of mangrove forest, Ravinala (forest of traveler’s tree) and wild forest open to your eyes while enjoying the pleasure of ballad. At yours details upon the village of Ampasipohy, the park entrance gate, you will have a 15 minutes break to re-ergenize for the start of the journey. After the break, jump into the forest. The fauna and flora rich in species opens to your eye such as the virt4res of our medicinal plants and the lemurs, macaco, snakes boa, chameleons among others. At noon, the chef will serve you a delicious meal of seafood. Back the hotel at around 1:00 pm
