Mayflower Park Hotel Description

The historic Mayflower Park was built in 1927 and located close to attractions, including Pike Place Market, Seattle Waterfront, and Space Needle, museums, theaters, shops and restaurants. The hotel opens directly into Westlake Center, with 80 specialty shops. The flagship Nordstrom and Macy?s are one block away. The hotel, as well as Andaluca Restaurant and Oliver?s Lounge, is entirely non-smoking.

The hotel offers 171 classically styled, non-smoking guest rooms including 19 luxury suites. The hotel also features award winning, Mediterranean restaurant, Andaluca as well as Oliver?s Lounge, a popular bar famous for its martinis and classic cocktails.

Many rooms offer poster headboards and armoires in traditional Queen Anne styling. All rooms feature omplimentary high speed internet access and premium digital TV channel selection.

This place bills itself as a historical "gem". It's really an overpriced, outdated place with a very inefficient, rude staff, tiny and VERY NOISY rooms (you can hear every word from your neighbor's room). Guests have to share the slow elevators with the cleaning and maintenance staff. The batorooms are so tiny there's no room to sit comfortably on the toilet or to put your own items anywhere. Cleaning staff didn't bother to give us wash cloths or new soap daily. My best advice, skip this place, there are much better, more reasonably priced hotels in Seattle.
