Marriott Washington at Metro Center Description

Situated adjacent to the DC Metro rail system, guests of this Washington DC hotel have easy access to the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, and a variety of other area attractions. Located within blocks of the Verizon Center and the Washington DC Convention Center, the hotel features comfortable accommodations for guests attending conferences, sporting events, or concerts in the DC area.

Hotel amenities include the indoor pool, health club, whirlpool, and sauna. The hotel also offers room service, complimentary coffee in the lobby, concierge service, valet laundry service, a gift shop/newsstand, and full business center. Onsite parking is $12 hourly. Valet parking is available for $30 per day.

Guest rooms are spread over 15 floors and feature work desks, speaker phones, voicemail, dataports, high-speed internet access, cable TV, free weekday newspapers, coffeemakers, irons and ironing boards, and hairdryers.

It was our first stay in the Capital and the Marriott was in a perfect location to see the sites. The personnel at this place went above and beyond to take care of the customers, and was a wealth of info when needed. The Grille was fantastic as was the service to customers. The rooms were clean and the beds were great. By far this was a great sleep. Checking In and Out was a breeze and within less than 10 mins. my car was out front and ready to go. Thank You to all who work at the Mariott, we had a wonderful time and a nice visit with you. Special thanks to those at the Grille: outstanding.

Location, cleanliness, service and comfortable beds are all great. Metro is right below the hotel, walking distance to several attractions. 2 restaurants in the hotel are pretty good for casual dining. I would definately stay again.
