Radisson Hotel Norfolk Description

Guests will be impressed with the level of comforts and services at the Radisson Hotel Norfolk, including an outdoor swimming pool, gift shop, business center, meeting rooms, 24-hour front desk, an ATM machine, express checkout, porters, valet parking, and high-speed Internet access. Money Magazine described Norfolk as the Best Place to Live in the South in 1998. This hotel affords the ability to explore all that Norfolk has to offer. From fine dining to movies, the arts to shopping, the Radisson Hotel is perfectly situated to discover this Southern gem. Although it is located in downtown, it is only ten minutes to the United States' largest military base and the Norfolk International Airport.

The Radisson offers room service from the early morning hours until the evening. There is also an on-site restaurant called Season's, which serves American cuisine in a comfortable bistro-like setting with a great view. For hors d'oeuvres, a cocktail, or a game of pool, Kevin's Pub is located on site. Complimentary snacks are offered from 5pm to 7pm. There are several other dining options located nearby, including Jillian's Hibachi Grill and Kincaid's.

The hotel is located across the street from Scope Sports Complex, home of the Norfolk Nighthawks-Norfolk's arena football team. The Convention Center is also across the street. The Chrysler Hall, where guests can enjoy first-rate theatrical and musical performances, is adjacent to the hotel. The MacArthur Center Mall, featuring such stores as Nordstrom, Franklin Covey, and Eddie Bauer is a two-block walk. The battleship U.S.S. Wisconsin is now moored at the nearby Nauticus Maritime Museum.

Rooms are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, hairdryer, coffeemaker, telephone with voicemail and dataports, an iron and ironing board, cable television with pay-per-view movies, and complimentary popcorn and bottled water on arrival.

The bathroom had tile that was lying in the floor. That was the first thing I noticed and it looked very disgusting. The bathtub was dirty and did not drain well. The shower curtain was also dirty. In the room, the floors were dirty and had dirt spots on the floor, I felt uncomfortable taking my shoes off. The bed, which I thought was going to be great since it was a sleep number bed, was broken. We were overall very dissatisfied with our stay and would not stay there again. It was very dissapointing.

The staff did not follow through on the request that I had made on un clogging the bath tub drain.

I am a Travel Agent visiting for my family reunion. I regret my stay, hair on bathroom floor and shower, brown piece of toliet tissue plugging a hole in the shower ceiling, refrigerator runs very loud, phone did not work upon check in, dusty furniture, torn lamp shades, had to plug in microwave and lamp. Bed unstable, ice machine had no ice. Dads room had NO HOT WATER , he and sister had to shower in my room, no compensation given, worst stay i have ever had & will contact the GM, I expected much more for * a night
