Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino Description

The 60-acre, tropical-themed Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino features a large pool area with a wave pool, an aquarium, and a casino. Located on the Las Vegas Strip, a complimentary monorail connects the hotel to the Luxor and Excalibur.

The 135,000-square-foot casino features lush, tropical decor, slots machines, table games, poker, and a race and sports book. The Mandalay Bay Events Center seats 12,000 and hosts a variety of events. The 1,600-seat Mandalay Bay Theatre features production shows and comedy acts. The House of Blues presents a mix of live music. The Shark Reef aquarium features exotic sea creatures. The 11-acre sand-and-surf beach features three swimming pools, a lazy river, wave pool, cabanas, an outdoor performance stage, two restaurants, poolside pampering at the seasonal Moorea Beach Club. The 30,000-square-foot Spa Mandalay offers massages, beauty treatments, and a salon.

Dining options include StripSteak, Fleur de Lys, Aureole, featuring a four-story wine tower, China Grill, Shanghai Lilly, Red Square, Trattoria Del Lupo, rumjungle, r.bar.cafe, Giorgio Caffe & Ristorante, Border Grill, House of Blues, Burger Bar, American cuisine at Red, White, and Blue, international fare at Verandah, the 24-hour Raffles Cafe, Bay Side Buffet, Noodle Shop, Turf Club Deli, and Starbucks.

Newly renovated Deluxe Rooms are the perfect blend of comfort and style, feature an extended living area, floor to ceiling windows, pillow top mattress, 42 inch plasma TV, iPod-compatible alarm clock/radio, his and her closets, desk area with wireless internet, mini bar, cordless phone.

The rooms were amazing, service great, lots of fine dining to choose from. Saw a concert while staying there and it was so convenient

My only issue was being turned away from the spa due to a wait list for a locker after being charged.

It was our first trip to Vegas and wouldn't want to have stayed anywhere else. We walked through many other hotels and felt this one was the best because it was not in the middle of the strip. Our room had a beautiful view of the sun rising over the mountains every morning. Also, they had a lot to offer for dining and entertainment. Loved it and would stay there again. It was too cold to swim, but I believe the pool is supposed to be one of the best, if not the best of them all.

I don't stay at a lot of places however my stay at Mandalay Bay was increditable. From the check in staff to all the employees they could not have been more attentive to our needs.

We were upgraded to TheHotel and it was absoulutly gorgeous. Great food & the House of Blues! Loved this hotel & will be going back soon!
