We went here for our honeymoon and I would have to say that I was very disappointed. The staff was very unfriendly and I was very disappointed with the views...the windows were too small to see outside. Zumanity was their best feature, that show was great.

I found this hotel to be wonderful. I read the previous reviews and was a bit concerned. I could see the roller coaster out of my window, but I did not hear any screaming. The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel and casino personnel were all there willing to help you with any request. I would definitely stay there again on my future visits to Las Vegas.

They had given us two queen sized beds but we were easily able to upgrade to a king. The room was a normal size, nothing spectacular, very clean and modern. The bathroom was quite impressive, pretty big with marble tile. We werent in the room all the much besides to sleep and the housekeeping was good and everything seemed fine. We really enjoyed the ESPN Zone - food and drinks were good, pricey but good. As well as Fine Nine Irishmen, that was quite the treat and I really enjoyed it.Would stay again!!

Stood in line for 45 minutes to check in.Could not understand what the check in people were saying because of poor communication skills. When we asked for any assistance we were treated as if the question was an interruption in their day.My parents payed for 15 people to stay at this place for their 25th wedding anniversary and each and every one of us had a situation where we were treated so rudely it was hard to believe. As for the staff-you are in a customer service position- if you don't like it-get another job where you are not around people!

Hotel was very nice.. one of the nicest on the strip. The time-share salesman are everywhere in the hotel and will bother you all day. And the drinks were outrageously prices ($16 for a cocktail!). But other than that, everything was wonderful! Staff was very nice and helpful. I would stay there again.

The hotel design was great, but many of the employees were just there to get a pay check. When asking direction or trying to gather information most jus t gave short answer and moved on. No extra effort given by employees. We wanted a little friendly atmostphere for our vacation.

The hotel offered an intimate setting amonst monmoth Hotels which made my stay a comfortable one. Disappointed our rooms were at differnt parts of the hotel when we checked in, had to have them changed the following day I was unhappy with the small swimming pool amd the outrageous price for a bottle of water. The casino area was limited when it came to card tables but that gave the hotel an intimate setting or as close to an intimate setting

Table gaming is great. Real New York Feel. Especially with the sewer smell. Something was wrong but we kidded saying it was great how the casino even piped in authentic New York smells!!! Safe Box, Make-Up Mirror, Great Breakfast, Wonderful decor. No problem with coaster or noise. Easy to get around and check-in/-out.

Very dissapointed with our stay at NYNY. Took 45 minutes to check in, and then we were given the wrong room. Had somone walk in our room while I was in the shower (they were checked into our room too aparantly)!!! Changed rooms the next day and had even more problems. The hotel made no attempt to make our experience better, simply "sorry, there is nothing else we can do."

This hotel was nicer than I expected for the price. I loved the exterior and the main level shops and restaurants. There were even man hole covers with "steam" coming up to complete the effect. The roller coaster was a blast...for my friends! The only thing I wished for that the room did not have was a fridge to keep things cold. The service was exceptional and very friendly.

NY NY is a blast!!! We had a group of 9 that stayed there and everyone really enjoyed it. The italian restaurant was delicious and the burgers are great at Nine Fine Irishmen as well as the fun staff. I did think the bathrooms in the room were a bit on the small side and the beds were doubles, not queens, as they will tell you. Two people rode the roller coaster and said it was really cool. Great hotel - you could spend your entire trip there. The pool and hot tub area is wonderful.

New York New York is a place to stay if you are up for partying! There is plenty to do within the hotel. Have to try Gallagher's for their steak and the Irish Pub was fun. Only downfall of the trip was the cleanliness of the rooms. All they did was make the bed each day. Bathroom was never cleaned during our stay. Did not ruin our trip. After reading some of the less than stellar reviews here, I was hoping for the best with my stay at NYNY. My wife and I were very pleased. All the staff was extremely accomodating, the room was clean,Gallaghers was great steak, and the clubs were fun. We liked the intimacy of the casino ,although there should be more table games. The breakfast in "America" was so-so but expensive. One thing we did not care for was the Time-Share people set up in a gauntlet going to the restaurant area. We were questioned every time we went to there or to our room. Pool is a little small. We will be back.

Hotel was nice and clean. Lots to do for all ages. Staff friendly. However, rooms picked up noise from hall. Make sure you call the online travel website AFTER purchasing to request/confirm bed type (king bed/2 doubles) and smoking preference. We ended up w/ 2 doubles and smoking. We wanted a king and non smoking. Housekeeping was ok.Rooms looked good at first glance. But we found ashes in a dresser drawer and a pipe in the chair cushion.

My first experience in Vegas and at New York New York. This hotel is awesome. From the entertainment to the food was excellent. The staff was very friendly. Although we didn't get a chance to ride the rollercoaster, we will do so on our next visit. Yes, I will be back!! There was just so much for you to do, that you couldn't do it all in 4 days. In my opinion the only downside was that the rooms didn't have microwaves or fridges. You have so much food left from lunch and dinner, that you get it to go. Unfortunately there wasn't a place to store our food or warm it up.

The only option I was given for a king bed was a smoking room. To get a non smoking room I had to get a double queen with a tiny TV -- this was a lesser quality room than the last time I stayed at the NY NY. I was told it was because I booked with a third party (online travel). I would recommend staying elsewhere.
