Hyannis Harbor Hotel Description

Located directly on Hyannis Harbor overlooking the Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard Ferries, the Hyannis Harbor Hotel is Hyannis premiere resort. We are walking distance to the beach as well as downtown shopping, restaurants and nightlife. We offer free ferry parking for our guests making a day-trip to the Islands a 25 USD/day value. Our 130 guest rooms, Jacuzzi and bi-level suites, many with private balconies and harbor views, are the largest and most well-appointed in the area. All rooms feature cable TV/DVD/CD/MP3 player, refrigerator, iron/ironing board, in-room safe, and free wireless internet. Bathrooms feature hairdryer and distinctive bath amenities. New for 2007 is a completely redesigned lobby with two-toned nautical wood flooring, stone fireplace, and covered pergola with stone walls, terraces and evening fire pit, all overlooking the harbor. Enjoy complimentary breakfast each morning overlooking beautiful Hyannis Harbor. Relax while dining in the Thirsty Tuna, our harbor front, pool-side restaurant and bar. The diverse menu will tempt you with classic New England Seaside Fare including lobsters, clam chowder and steaks. Children will also enjoy our kids menu. We offer hours of family fun with our harbor view outdoor pool, sundeck and kiddie pool. We also feature a huge indoor pool, hot tub and game room. Other popular area attractions are within minutes of the hotel including the JFK Memorial, whale watching, the Cape Cod Melody Tent, and golf and tennis.

We were very disappointed with the poor management of this property. Front desk staff seemed poorly trained and rooms were not cleaned by mid-afternoon. We even saw a family of ducks walking through the downstairs hallways! The pool is kept locked, so you had to ask to use it. We were never told about a continental breakfast. Staff needs better training!
