Brand new, beautiful hotel sitting on the Boston harbor. Close in walking distance to the North End, the T, and downtown. 5 minute cab ride to Newbury/Boylston shopping area. Rooms are spacious, veyr clean, very comfortable, high end amenities, and huge bathrooms. Spa was serene and the most relaxing experiene i've ever had. Rumba bar was fun and happening. A lot of locals there every night. Concierge was knowledgeable and very helpful. What an amazing experience!

This is a very elegantly furnished upscale hotel. But without even a coffee maker in the room and generally bad/delayed service it is too expensive for what it offers.

For the price I would of rather stayed somewhere else. The staff there were short when asked anything. You never got the same answer if asked two different people. For a high rated hotel....when they state there are robes and slippers in the room, why you book a double and there is only one robe? Also I thought kleenex and toliet papar were something that came with room when it was cleaned? Not there....we had to call to get it. Well that is after we got someone to fix our phone. I have stayed at other hotel on the waterfront in Boston and would probably go back to those.

This hotel is only a few months old. The rooms are spectacular with the stand in glass shower and large sunken tub! The decor is beautiful. You could not be in a better location downtown (on the water and a 10-15 min walk to the North End). Wonderful beds!!

The hotel is new ,rooms are nice, and it also is in a pretty good location. For the price in the area it is a deal. That being said you should be prepared for awful service. During one day of my four day stay the room was not cleaned. I was charged for an item I did not order. I had to wait 20 minutes to check out in line because only one person was avaliable at the front desk. People working there are few and far betweenbe prepared to wait for anything. You had to go into the restaurant to get coffee to go in the morning. The limited staff is overwhelmed and turn angry when you complain.

The Intercontinental Boston is a luxury hotel that lives up to its 5 star reputation. Not only is it a beautifully appointed hotel, but it also has staff that is courteous and helpful. Location, location, location! The hotel was in walking distance of the pier, trolley locations for tourists and fine restaurants. We received unbelievable quality for the price.

The Intercontinental Boston lived up to its 5 star rating standards! I have never stayed at a hotel with such amenities, including a door bell and a personalized phone greeting, the most comfortable down beds and luxurious bathrooms. The consierge service was impeccable. They did everything from order our tickets, to call a restaurant to tell them we were running late (without us notifying the consierge that we were doing so!) I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying there again in the future!

Beautiful rooms, in close proximity to many major attractions (aquarium, Quincy Market, Hard Rock Cafe, etc), beautiful bathroom, great value for the money. Be aware that valet is mandatory if you bring a car and runs $39.00 per night.
