Days Inn Tampa Bay is one mile from the fairgrounds and Tampa Bay Convention center and approximately five miles from Adventure Island, Busch Gardens, and the Florida Aquarium. The airport in Tampa is approximately ten miles away with shuttle service starting June 2006. Guests can relax in the hotel's swimming pool. A complimentary continental breakfast is included in the room rate. The hotel also offers overnight delivery service, laundry/valet services, free parking, rollaway beds/cribs, safe-deposit box, and 24-hour front desk. Small pets are allowed, but restrictions may apply. HBO, pay per view movies, truck parking, 10 minute drive to all attractions and on-site laundry.

Non-smoking and handicap-accessible rooms are available. All rooms feature air-conditioning, cable television, wireless internet, coffeemaker, and clock radio. Doubles, kings and suites available.

We were lost and drove around in the neighborhood for 30 mins, and discovered it is really a run down area. When we stepped into the lobby, certainly there was no warm welcome and there is an early check-in charge for $5/hr. Ok, then we left the hotel. We were petrified by the hotel environment.

I stayed at this hotel about a year ago and it needed to renovated... it think it was a LaQuinta before. This time the price was lower and the whole hotel has been renovated and looks brand new. Good stay!
