Bilmar Beach Resort Description

The Bilmar Beach Resort is a full service 3-star resort located directly on the white sandy beach of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy comfort and elegance at a Florida Gulf Coast resort with beachfront accommodations overlooking the sparkling blue waters. Located in Treasure Island Florida, just minutes from St. Pete Beach, 35 miles from the Tampa International Airport and St. Pete/Clearwater Airport.

Enjoy sunsets while dining at the Famous Sloppy Joes on the Beach. Visit Bazzies Beach Bar featuring breakfast, lunch and dinner or just sip on an ice cold drink on the outdoor beach patio with entertainment and spectacular views of the sunset.

Amenities include two heated swimming pools, whirlpool, jogging/walking trail, fitness facility, guest laundry and gift shop. Free Parking and free wireless internet access in every guest room.

All accommodations are tastefully decorated with flat panel LCD TV, microwave, refrigerators, coffee service, in-room hairdryers, and electronic safes.

The Gulf Front Studio overlooks the Gulf of Mexico and has two queen beds. The Deluxe Gulf Front Studio with private balcony, and Poolside Efficiency have equipped kitchenettes with stoves, two queen beds and private changing area. The Gulf Front Efficiency overlooks the Gulf of Mexico with private balcony and also has a kitchenette with stove and refrigerator, private changing area, and two queen beds or one king bed.

We booked thru online travel website, ground floor, got there and were on 3rd floor with no locks on window, no screen, no bar, no railing and we have two small special needs kids!, They did give us KING room with two rollaways, it was nice and safe.

We loved the location and the beach. We liked the room and how it was set up, but it was dirty!! The vents where black with dirt, the carpets are in need of a GOOD cleaning, the basements and floors needed some attention. Basicly, is it a nice place, but they need to pay closers attention to how the rooms are being cleaned. Also, we were there for three days and the sheets were NEVER changed.
