Omni Orlando Resort Champions Gate Description

The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is located within the master-planned community of ChampionsGate, approximately 25 miles from Orlando International Airport. This resort is surrounded by world-class golf, acres of natural wetlands, and the attractions of central Florida. The hotel is also five miles from Walt Disney World® Resort, 14 miles from SeaWorld® Orlando, and 18 miles from downtown Orlando. The hotel offers transportation to Walt Disney World® Resort.

The property's amenities include the two golf courses (36 holes designed by Greg Norman), full health club, European spa and full-service beauty salon, video game arcade, David Leadbetter Golf Academy, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, outdoor heated swimming pool, family activity pool with waterslides, and 850-foot lazy river that winds through tunnels and hidden canyons. For dining, the hotel houses Zen (pan-Asian), Trevi's (Mediterranean), David's Club (casual sports bar and grill overlooking two championship golf courses), Broadway Deli, Lobby Bar, Croc's (poolside bar and grill), and Clubhouse Restaurant. Room service is available 24 hours.

All rooms feature refreshment centers, coffeemakers, safes, hairdryers, lighted make-up mirrors, irons and ironing boards, plush robes, foam and feather pillows (down pillows available upon request), triple sheeting on beds, executive work desks (with modem outlets and dataports), CD players, two dual-line telephones (includes one cordless phone), voicemail, complimentary high-speed Wireless Internet access, Lodgenet system (on-demand hit movies and Nintendo 64 video games), and WebTV.

The resort fee includes: in-room high speed internet, daily newspaper, in-room coffee, turn down service, self parking and local calls.

Great hotel! Everything luxury should be. Service was fantastic. The Omni made our trip to Orlando a true vacation experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to family, friends and anyone looking for where true champions must live.

I checked into the Omni for four days of pampering and relaxation. Don't miss the lazy river, its a great way to enjoy the sun and stay cool. The spa was wonderful! Could use a QA check - stained towels, robe, chipped dish used with pedicure. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated but the bed was the problem. I woke up with a backache each morning. Hotel tried to accomodate and suggested I try another bed on the same floor..same hard, worn mattress.

This is a nice hotel. We stayed at another property before going here and in comparison, we like the other one much better, but this was still good. Pool was just to die for. Loved it so much, made us not want to leave. Restaurant Service was average, if not below. Front Desk has a lot of people training. No turndown service the last night...don't know why. Cookies were a nice surprise on the 1st night.
