I stayed in the Cascades area and the room needs serious renovation. The decoration is really bad. I can imagine the other rooms in the other villages. I liked the fact that the kitchen is fully equipped and there is a washer and dryer in the room. The bathroom is really small. I could barely fit my daughter's inflatable baby tub. I strongly recommend the other resort they have in Orlando: Sheraton Vistana Villages. This is the BEST!

We were disappointed walking into our room. It felt like a motel instead of 4star. The room (cascades section) felt old and the bathroom was the worst. The counter top was small, the bathtub had whirlpool, but you will never lie down in it, The sliding door of the bathtub was dirty, even had mold on it. The main breakfast buffet restaurant was dirty. The plates had stuff sticking to it. The booster seat was so dirty that I couldn't use it. Overall it was a bad experience and our vacation didn't feel great because of this bad experience.

My son and I had a wonderful stay. I want to assure those out there that the information that you may read that is derogatory is absolutely exaggeration; I would say people are a bit too picky. I am used to nice places, and this was the case. The room was clean, the service was wonderful, the restaurant prices were affordable, the general store prices were comparable to the Walgreen?s down the street , and lastly the timeshare pressure- there is no pressure, just say no thank-you. So relax, enjoy the place and enjoy Disney or any of the other parks in the area- we certainly did!

I was a little worried after booking the trip that I would end up in a terrible unit. We stayed at the Lakes and had a great time. We had one plant in our room that stunk, but we just put it outside for our stay. Our room was very comfortable and the pools are all within walking distance. We had a 3 year old and 9 month old and we never really had to leave!

While the location is great and the grounds are nice, I have never been in such a dirty and stinky room. Not only was it dated, which would not have been that bad, it looked like it had the original carpeting from 25 years ago when it was built. It looked nothing like the pictures on the web. If it had I would never have booked a room.

During our stay, we had 3 different rooms. The 1st was already occupied and they thought someone was breaking in. 2nd was so old it sounded like the people outside were standing next to you and we found a roach in the bathtub. It took our waiter at breakfast calling a friend at the front desk to get us moved the last time. Although the last room extremely nice, my advice would be to find another hotel until all the villas have been remodeled, fumigated and they take care of their overbooking problem. Otherwise, you're going to be gambling with your vacation experience.

Pictures on the web-site are not of the suites that you actually stay in. These pictures are the newer buildings of owner's suites. We stayed in a much older outdated suite which is in a totally different section of the resort. There were tiny bugs crawling all over the counters in the kitchen, bathrooms and dressers our entire stay. I requested to be moved and told that I would be, but each day I got a run around. I am not exaggerating, I had the worst experience at this resort. The service was terrible. The first room given to us was old, dirty (my daughters shoes stuck to the kitchen floor) and it smelled like something had died. My bedspread had a stain on it. I couldn't take the smell and asked to be moved, they wanted to charge me 45.00. Then a complete stranger wanted in my room, to look for headphones. We felt ignored about our concerns. Go at your own risk. If you plan to buy there, ask to see room 20263.

We really enjoyed this hotel. Our villa was perfect for a family with a 4 year old and a one year old. The welcome packet was pushed a little too much, especially waking us up at 8:00 am the day after we had just traveled all day to reach Orlando. We were able to receive a baby crib, but only after the pack and play they had originally given us was so dirty and stained that we requested another. Everything else was perfect and we had a wonderful time. We especially loved the heated pool.

This is a vacationland type of resort. In other words...Timesharing. You are constantly called about your free breakfast or lunch so that you can sit down with one of the staff members to discuss your participation within their program. Let me tell you...used car salesmen could learn from these people. From 7a in the morning to 8:30p the staff called and left messages. And when you finally get them to understand that you're here on business and that you're not going to make any time-sharing purchase...they can't hang-up the phone quick enough.
