Travelodge San Diego Mission Description

Centrally located in San Diego's Mission Valley, Travelodge San Diego Mission is just a few minutes from Old Town, downtown San Diego, and the beautiful San Diego Harbor, from which you may view massive aircraft carriers and cruise ships sailing past a skyline. With a short drive to the Northwest, you can visit Shamus the whale at Sea World (discount tickets available at the front desk). Then make a short trip to Ocean Beach or La Jolla to experience the sea for yourself. Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego Zoo, and Balboa Park are between three and six miles away. Within walking distance (less than a mile) you will also find two major shopping malls, groceries, golf, tennis, fitness center, and a movie theater. The guided San Diego Trolley Tour stops right outside the hotel.

As our guest, you are welcome to enjoy the heated swimming pool and outdoor spa. There are also two restaurants and a piano bar on the grounds. All rooms feature in-room safe, coffeemaker, hairdryer, and cable television with HBO, CNN, ESPN, Family Channel, and dozens of other channels.

Charged $15 for early checkin. Even though booked the site throught pet friendly.com they didn't include extra cost of pet in room rate. Rooms did not include refigerator or microwave. Staff was not friendly or helpful.

Location was very central to area attractions, shopping and dinning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Free high speed Internet, food was good, they also have a piano lounge.

I received perhaps 3 hours of sleep due to noise outside. Went to brkfast and maid cleaned my room out before I had checked out. Management made excuses.
