We spent one week. The location on the sand and at the waters edge trumped everything at this hotel/motel. All the employees were VERY nice. Upkeep has been put on hold because the motel has applied to sell as condos.But, the cleanliness of the rooms should continue. The sheets, towel and dishes seemed fine but, the dust and cobwebs were bad. Bill was mishandled couple times. We went over the border into Tijuana. We were advised not to and, we shouldn't have because of crime.

The hotel had no record of my reservation. after about 40 min. I finally got a room, but it was a smaller room. The view was great and even though there isn't any air conditioning in the rooms the ocean breeze and ceiling fans kept it nice and cool in the evenings. You definately want an ocean view room, it's the only thing that makes this hotel worth it. I will probably stay here again, only for the beach access and location. Great little cafe' across the street.

Hotel is dated, but that is because it is being torn down for a high rise in Oct. Hurry before then, the price and the view can not be beat! You want ocean side for sure. Who stays in the room anyway. If it were not being replaced I would stay again in a heartbeat. Stove, frig, microwave and the ocaen is just feet away. I am just sorry I found it too late to enjoy it again.
